Probably, he raced there before racing in Rockport? Hmm.. maybe the player was racing legally, then he went to street racing. This has to happened before MW.

Ryan Cooper is not Player from NFSUG1-NFSC quadralogy, also time setting dont match at all - NFSPS 2007, same as release date; NFSUG2 2004, MW 2005. For proof i can take certain cars that got released in certain year and appeared in certain NFS game.

Also, the bmw can possibly prove that the player (not Ryan Cooper) was doing legal racing before they went illegal.

UG1 and Pre-UG1 Carbon prequel sequence(Darius's Supra and race) takes place at lease before 2003. That's 4 years gap between these timelines, man it's just too long time for that to happen. BMW M3 is easter egg in PS, nothing else.

It's black with white vinyls and it has some small decals pasted around it like most opponent cars. Also it doesn't have a body kit. I've seen it loads at the start of drift and grip events. So no, it isn't the player from the older games. Just a subtle homage made by Black Box.

I am kidna reviving this thread with probably useless info. The driver's name is Charlie Gaskins and he uses that car for drifting. I saw him go before me, no kidding. I didnt take the pic, sorry.

Interesting. Why does he use the same car as the player?

It's just a BMW...which can be simply bought and its seem to have a different paint job (or just color), and its not the GTR from MW/Carbon...instead its the normal street version. The car is paintwd black and thw vinyl is white, the real players BMW was silver/white with blue vinyl and white lines.
Why he uses a similar BMW, ask EA...the only similarity I see might be the vinyl style according to the hood.In Undercover you can select that vinyl from (bmw only) manufractur vinyls.
And as we learned from random AI in previous NFS games, they often have different cars with different styles...just random build by the game.
