Yesterday I played NFS Underground 2 and I discovered something interesting. Look at the pictures of Rachel’s Nissan 350Z from airport, when player arrived from Olympic city. this isn’t it!   This is orange/red car, not green Nissan. I think this is Mazda RX-8. Why?  This picture is from intro (player is in garage) and you can see warehouse and red Mazda RX-8. How Rachel get into the garage without a Nissan? Yeah, with Mazda. What do you think? |

Guys, I don't know if the NFSU2 box cover is the same in other parts of the world.
On one of the sreens on the back side there is a 350z similar to Rachel's one but with no wide body kit, just with Rohan (i think that's their name) bumpers.
The second thing is the 350z in the front. Just green with Volk rims, it seems like its full performance tuned, just look at the brakes.
There are no visible vinys on this ride.
Third thing, the same pic. What is this place?! (im still thinking about the cover art).
Tell what you think.

The place where NFSU2 box cover picture is captured is in Bayview.Okay here's the cover:  If you focus at the background,you can recognise that it is located in East side of Highway 27 near the east interchange to Beacon Hill and City Core.Here's the image if you want to know more about where it is located:  Back to the topic about that Rachel's RX8,it seems that this theory is correct and you also supposed to drive the RX8 to the car lot in the beginning of the game.Here's the prove:  That's a picture I've taken from the cutscene in the beginning of the game.Now,take a look at the gauge and compare it with this RX8's gauge in real life:  They're similar,right? So basically Rachel's car is a RX8 and the player supposed to drive it to the car lot. |

BUT
just look at the right side of the bumper. Something just in not ok in this place. There is something what looks like a side entrance to the highway.

I knew it's not really located at there.The game's box cover is kinda reflects the place in Underground 2 but it's not really accurately.The cover is intendly to reflects the atmosphere in the game like racing in night with riced cars on the highway,just like we can see on the cover. Back to the topic,again.I think this is the final proof of this,with the full view of Rachel's RX-8(probably).Here's the image I've taken from the earliest cutscene of the game:  As you can see at the back of the car,it's back is similar to this well-known image of the game,with few edits on at the background of the image above:  |

we actualy know rachel's beta rx-8 from the loading screens   PROOF: look at the map (first pic), only the garage, a circuit race and a sprint is shown, just as when you drive rachel's 350z at the beginning of the carrer. |

I dunno why they changed from RX-8 to 350Z. RX-8 seems kind of a more suitable car for a female driver.

Maybe cuz it was a new car and 350z was older and more recognizable, or Nissan paid for it, but I don't think so, or they wanted to have Nissans as two most recognizable tuners of the game (Eddies "Line in UG and Rachels 350z in UG2) |

Well maybe they changed the RX8 because there is another character with a RX8. (don't remember the name sorry). Maybe the stuff with recognisable car is about the thing that Rachel was in Bayview like forever with the same car. Maybe. I mean she says "this is my city". So it woudn't be a surprize.

Well maybe they changed the RX8 because there is another character with a RX8. (don't remember the name sorry). There's no main character in Underground 2 that using RX-8 as his/her main car.Caleb using Hummer H2 and Pontiac GTO and Nikki Morris using Ford Mustang GT.The only character that using RX-8 is Mia Townsend and Yumi in Most Wanted 2005 and Carbon. |

The first pic: The right side car is Supra with Body kit 5 like in MW and Carbon, and the left side car it look like an lamborghini or Honda NSX / NSXR.
