Stupid topic to bring up.
People in my class make fun of me because I'm always #1. So, they found a girl that is like me and started to say that we like each other. They say that she likes me because:
1: When I was absent, she gave me a copy of the work I missed.
2: I wrote a speech and she tried to make me present it. I didn't want to present it because I spammed NFS logos on the back of my speech.
3: The teacher asked me to answer and I didn't want to and she tried to make me answer.
4: Because she stayed during my presentation.
Well, I'm also friends with her brother. (who's two years younger than me  )
I also feel bad for her because they make fun of her too much, example: She sleeps with her text books. She eats with her text books. Etc.
She's not that bad. I actually voted for her as president of the student council. They accused me so much of liking her that I actually like her now (Don't know why). There is just something about her that makes me like her (Don't know what).
You know that at first, I also made fun of her, but I then I woke up.
Keep in mind that everyone in my class is very immature (except for me). They sit backwards, sit with their legs wide open, jump around waving their arms in the air, play soccer in class, etc.
So, now what? (Not going to ask her out, not going to ask for her number, etc.)

In other words, about the last part, you also described my school in a nutshell.
Except:
It's full of cricket lovers. Some are too much dedicated they'll brag about it all the time.
There are a lot of annoying people who hurt you, for exactly no reason.
And it is full of parrots. (people who just imitate what other guys say in a wrong manner)

OMG!!! I have got THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!
Erm... what i did was to just be friends with her and just ignored anyone's shit. It works (sort of) for me but, my class is just stupid, yours sounds better than mine.

I only know sitting with legs open, having them closed is girly...tho, I mena having legs wide open can be girly too but that's a different type of sitting...
So, if you wanna date her or just hook up with her and you don't know if she really likes you, friendzoned or playin games.I know lotta girls we are friends ( tho, had some with some of them..wahhtever) but are/act/looks like a couple, and ma girl doesn't mind it lol, cause its normal.

I don't know what type of guy you are, these things are easy or not if you're less jump in and go type (open type, player type)
On her problem, just talk to her (cause having books all around is weird)and maybe tell the guys to back out or just let her go, cause if you stay it won't work out for you.
