gRiM presents: Overdone characters pack Name: John Black Street name: Nazgûl Grown up in: London, England Age: 21 (November 30th, 1992) Gender: Male Appearance:Height: 6’1” (185 cm) Weight: 144 lbs (65 kg) Hair: Short black with dark blue stripes. Facial hair is shaved. Eyes: Blue Build: Seemingly slim, mainly the abdomen. Somewhat pale skin. Attire: Dark blue short sleeve t-shirt with a spiked jacket covering it. Dark blue leather fingerless gloves. Dark blue jeans. Black boots. Personality: Unlawful and obsessed with street racing despite being aware of the risks, loyal to his friends and the street racing activity itself. Even though he’s mean and cold occasionally, John can and will jump into a fight to defend his friends when a situation calls for it. If things go wrong, John is the kind of guy who will always try to make the best out of any bad situation. During not really important conversations sometimes he’s serious, sometimes he’s not. During serious conversations, John is usually wise. He has tremendous respect for experienced persons who also go far to protect their friends/neighbors. Both technical and fearless on the track with an “eye for an eye” mentality. John is into cars and tuning, able to both upgrade and repair most vehicles including his. Overthinking stuff is his flaw along with paranoia occasionally. Though those two can also be helpful in the surroundings of street racing. While he dislikes many blacklist racers, John knows that him and others would lack a great goal without the blacklist and its street racers. His complex personality along with his questionable past and talent for street racing makes John mysterious enough to get in the center of attention. He also tends to appear out of nowhere. Vehicle: 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II [R32] with black window tint and 17" Buddy Club P1 wheels Top Speed Limiter Remove Lightweight Front Seats 1 Kg from Camera/Laptop Stage 1 Suspension, Tires and Brakes Removed Spoiler Flat Underbody Performance stats at Performance Figures1998 Subaru Impreza Turbo [GC8F] Removed Spoiler S1 ECU, Single Turbo, Suspension, Tires and Brakes Street Cooling System Performance stats at Performance Figures2006 Hummer H1 Alpha 4-door wagon (non-participating) Equipment: Wallet (filled with identity document, load of dollars and other stuff), Keys, Nokia X1-00 phone, mini laptop, Taser C2, Canon EOS Rebel T3i SLR Digital Camera (along with a tripod for it placed inside the trunk of his vehicle), small flashlight, watch, and sometimes sunglasses. History: John’s mother was a teen living in Olympic City, USA when she got pregnant in an accidental way. Lucky enough, Patricia found out early about the pregnancy by taking a test. She also found out that that her “boyfriend” was a gifted street racer, which didn’t help. So she thought about having an abortion. But instead, she didn’t tell anyone and was helped by a childhood friend to move to England. Things were going well for the the first 15 years for the couple and their son. However, later on John Sr. got involved into street racing mainly due to the influence of the street racers from the town. His car was a Nissan 300ZX. John Sr. was also playing a big influence on John Jr., who also got in using a lower level Nissan at the age of 16. Unfortunately for Patricia, this was too much for her to take as she entered into a severe depression and later committed suicide. While both Johns were devastated by the loss, they did not have a lot of time to react to the event as the cops beginning to shut down the street racing in their town. John told his son about his real father with this occasion, at least what he knew. A rather dehumanized John Jr. didn’t care much for this revelation about his past. Both escaped, making their way to a city picked by John Senior. London. He wanted to give his son a better life, ensure he continue his studies and maybe even continue street racing at the same time. With a mix of shock, dispar and irrational judgement mixed with John Sr. and left him in a mental state closely resembling a mental disorder. Consequences were a natural result to this . John Jr. continued street racing in a less populated area of the city and learned about auto mechanics from his father, but didn’t finish his studies. And when John Sr. quit street racing, John Jr. was not the same helpless son anymore. During this time he had proven inexplicable skill by rising up the ranks with his continuously upgraded Nissan. That was until JJ had become the most notorious street racer out of the surprising shallow pool in London. Some thought that John’s talent was an inheritance from his real father. They were right, street racing was in his blood. He gave himself the street name “Nazgûl” thanks to both his appearance and dark past. John also become the owner of a performance shop and worked as a photographer in parallel with the auto business. Consequently he had no financial issues considering the cash flow from two jobs coupled with street racing. But like the old saying goes money didn’t buy happiness. Not only did John know it, he felt it in his bones. Depression hit him in his free time due to the realization that he was nothing more than a notorious criminal without real parents or friends to care about him. JJ’s depression was long and hard on him. Until one day when he saved a fellow street racer from being robbed: Brittany Bevis; a pale crazy girl. Love at first sight happened between the two. The end was soon nigh for street racing in London. At first, John switched his Nissan Skyline R31 with a 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II [R32] to lose the heat, though this soon proved to be a fruitless sidestep endeavour. Sensing the cops were going to pull an ambush that would take down most street racers, John warned Brittany. The two left before it was too late, en route to the hottest spot for street racing at the moment; Darke County, with the intent of making a name for themselves there (just John actually, Brittany races for fun). John’s leave was rather sudden and he didn’t tell his stepfather about it because he never agreed with the relationship his son had with Brittany. As soon as they arrived, John and Brittany bought a small apartment in Rosewood. During the first 3 months spent in the city JJ upgraded his R32; rented a warehouse for him and Brittany and got hired as a Car Magazine Photographer. Meanwhile, Brittany found an abandoned black Hummer H1 in a more or less obscure place of the city. A vehicle which she and John began to use outside of street racing. The two then formed a crew called Black Riders with which they now are on the lookout for two more members. Favorite Food: Double Cheeseburger, though KFC works too. Occupation: Car Magazine Photographer Aspirations: Not missing any important race maybe except for drift events, becoming the most notorious street racer/ #1 on the blacklist, taking control over the city with his crew (figuratively of course, the actual meaning behind that is taking control over rival crews’ territories) and protecting his friends from any form of chaos. Skills and flaws: A very skilled racer mainly due to his great reaction time, quick thinking, strong imagination and great racing line coupled with great braking line. Born with some of these skills but also improved/ build some of them within years of racing experience. Quick thinking along with strong imagination and great race line are mostly natural. Great reaction time along with great brake line were learned. These skills allow John to find great tactics to win in pretty much any race condition using his competitive car. The need for tactics might disappear temporarily with the sensing of aggression though, when John does not have an issue to go fearless and ram back with the old “eye for an eye” way of schooling. And if the stake is high enough and/or he gets provoked, John may drive aggressively to the point of refusing to slow down in an attempt to keep the quickest race line possible around the track, assuming the risk of making contact or crashing his vehicle along with others. “Sometimes you just don't give a fuck and go for the jugular.” as he would say. Not to be confused with a racer who gets lost in the heat of the moment though, he fully knows what he’s doing, the risks he’s taking and keeps his calm along with his confidence in any situation. This juxtaposition of aggressive driving style at time with a cool demeanor comes at a great mental taxation for JJ. The strain of this inner battle does cause some mental damage over time the effects of which aren’t yet known. His other weakness is drifting. John can’t drift for shit because he never owned a Rear-Wheel Drive vehicle, and he’s not a fan of drifting either due to gripping being a faster way to take corners. Outside racing, John is an agreeable person and he’s specialized in auto mechanic and photographing. Overthinking stuff is a flaw he has outside racing which rarely shows itself during races too. Another flaw he has outside racing is lack of general knowledge due to not finishing his studies. He says he doesn’t care about information which don’t truly helps him in what he does. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 8. Not arrogance by the way, just facts. He don’t thinks his final result in a race can only be good if he’s giving his best. He knows it. Racer Type: Smokeshow (Technique + Power + Agility, no Speed, though Power and Speed are more or less the same thing) Residence: Downtown Rosewood Crew: BR (Black Riders) [Leader]Theme Song: John Murphy - Adagio In D MinorAlternative Theme Song: Christopher Lawrence - Rush HourVersus Nazgûl Theme Song: Michael McCann - IcarusVersus Nazgûl Alternative Theme Song: Diesel Boy + Kaos - Barrier Break---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Brittany Bevis Street name: Dark Moon Grown up in: London, England Age: 20 (August 17th, 1993) Gender: Female Appearance: Height: 5’7” (175 cm) Weight: 121 lbs (55 kg) Hair: Long raven black Eyes: Black smokey Build: Slim, straight shape with decent bust. Pale skin. Attire: Dark purple shirt with a black leather jacket with zipper covering it. Dark purple or black shorts along with a black leather studded belt. Black leather knee high boots. Black painted nails. Brittany also has a labret and navel piercing. Her look resembles goths more or less. She has a noticeable british accent. You don’t need to add a picture of your character(s). I did only because I can for this character. You can too, but you’re not forced to. Personality: An attractive, crazy badass. Brittany couldn’t care less about the blacklist, she is in just for fun, even if this means doing huge burnouts in front of cops (or anywhere else), ‘accidentally’ bumping into others, etc. Not only that… as she dislikes people who take things too serious, Brittany can and will influence these people to take things easier. If you’re like her already, don’t expect Brittany to be too nice with you. She is taken by John Black. In a shorter version, Brittany can be described as a manipulative bitch who helps her boyfriend out by reducing the competition for him. It has to be said though that John is not always fine with this arrangement. Trivial information: Brittany likes rock music and has a tendency of listening to such music while driving, turning the speakers on max volume. Vehicle: 1993 BMW 850Ci [E31] Top Speed Limiter Remove S1 Suspension, Tires, Brakes and WR S2 Drivetrain 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha 4-door wagon (non-participating) Equipment: Smartphone, boombox inside the BMW or Hummer depending on what she’s driving, small black purse with wallet, keys, make up, pepper spray and taser. History: Brittany grow up in an orphanage in London. She was abandoned by her mother after her father died of a heart attack. Ever since Brittany was a teen, she had a thing for music, listening to many songs but also documenting them. When Brittany was 15 though, she ran away from the orphanage due to the bad treatment she received. Having no home, Brittany roamed around the streets till she become the right person at the right moment. A couple of singers she ran into had compassion for her mainly after hearing about her thing for music. They gave Brittany a roof over her head and the needed education. At the age of 18, Brittany had become a DJ and was interested in street racing. Looking for some older German grand tourer, she bought a BMW 6 Series E24 after obtaining a driver license. Thanks to never having “fun” at all in her past, Brittany’s driving style has always been spicy. She liked messing with people, which got her into minor rivalities but also brought Brittany cash from races to upgrade her BWW. Inevitably, the relationship with her stepparents went downhill, forcing Brittany to save cash from both her job and street racing for a home. Not too long after buying a small apartment, she pink slipped a stock BMW 8 series and upgraded it after selling the older BMW. Brittany got more or less popular within the street racing community during this time. She wasn’t exactly happy though, plus, this also brought unwanted attention. She was about to get robbed, but the most notorious street racer from London saved her. John Black. For the first time, Brittany entered a relationship. They both moved to Darke County around 3 months ago, starting a new life. Brittany also got her job back in the meanwhile. gRiM: More details can be found in the last part of John’s history. Favorite Food: Ice cream, no certain flavor preference Occupation: DJ in various nightclubs of Rockport city. Aspirations: Have fun, meeting new people, support John and proving her worth to Cal's crew. Skills and flaws: Brittany drives reckless and enjoys toying with many fellow street racers. She gained very good reaction time within the years, which she uses to dodge ramming. Why would Brittany get rammed anyways? Maybe because she tends to ram the others at opportune times for “fun”. Not because she has to, nor because she’s getting angry easily. Just for fun. Her driving style during crew races however may be more serious, focusing on precision. All this makes Brittany rather unpredictable. Drifting and show-off are her other strengths, perfectioned during the time spent in London. She’s not so good in the mountains thanks to the weight of her BMW. Bad at Drag racing mainly because she finds it boring to drive in straight line, so Brittany won’t bother a lot with this. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 7 Racer Type: Smokeshow Residence: Downtown Rosewood Crew: TKz (Tandem Kingz) [Blocker]Theme Song: CFO$ - Stars In The Night Versus Dark Moon Theme Song: Alter Bridge - Metalingus

He’s always joking around in conservations but he can also be serious about stuff but he hates arguing about stuff, where he’s always trying to not get involved to. He often listens to trap music in his car while driving, which motivates him. He tends to drift every corner, since he has a lot of experience in drifting and also appears often out of nowhere. He’s also a good friend of Dominik “DCVDNS” Christoph von der Nordsee and T. Jennkins.
Vehicle: 1993 Toyota Supra MKIV Twin Turbo [JZA80] (white); no visual upgrades; 19” MOMO Sport rims (silver); stock spoiler; facelift headlights; sparco race seats (black); MOMO drift steering wheel (black); low weight reduction kit; Falken drift tires [for freeroam and drifting]; Falken street tires [for racing]; (more upgrades will be added while playing)

After a few years of hard working, he got the money to buy his dream car, the Toyota Supra MKIV Twin Turbo. After he got a feeling of the handling, he took part in legal drift competitions, where he had won some money. He invested most of it into his car, adding new rims, race seats and steering wheel, a weight reduction kit and drift tires. A few months later, he got invited to a street event in [insert city name here], where he got interested in street racing. Now he’s trying to make a name for himself, under the name ‘raflp’. THEND Favorite Food: KFC, potato chips, mostly fast food Occupation: professional drifter, mechanic (owns a Performance/Body/Repair shop in masterson harbour) Aspirations: drifting, becoming at least #10 on the blacklist, taking control over other territories and looking for friends and other drifters.. Skills and flaws: Cal is a very high skilled drifter and has a lot of experience with it, since he’s a drifter by occupation. He has very good reaction time and some experience with drag racing, but he’s not the best, but not the worst. He also has some knowledge as mechanic. Cal’s flaws are mostly gripping and contact with other cars, since he doesn’t like to damage his car, but if you hit him, don’t expect to get away unharmed. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 6 Racer Type: Technique [drifter] Residence: Masterson Naval Shipyard, Masterson Harbour, Camden, Rockport City Crew: Tandem Kingz [TKz] [leader]Theme Song: Aero Chord - SurfaceVersus raflp Theme Song: Aero Chord - Bouzouki

Tuftojennkins’ Name: T. Jennkins Street name: None Grown up in: Redview County, then Darke in later years Age: 21 Gender: Male Appearance: Height: 6 foot Weight: 148 pounds Hair: Blonde and a bit like a domeover Eyes: Cold Steel Gray (feel like a bad***) Build: Tall and slightly lanky Attire: Gray T-shirt and sweatshorts Personality: Jennkins is relatively calm, and doesn't talk much. He is, however, paranoid of other vehicles on the road, and has been known to go out of his way to avoid civilian traffic on the road. He is also rather sarcastic. Vehicle: 1992 Nissan 240SX [S13] S1 ECU and NOS (4 Kg bottle) S2 Single Turbo Equipment: A wallet and his car keys History: This guy had a relatively uneventful childhood, until his parents were killed in a massive hit-and-run/car crash accident when he was 18, where he was massively injured, but survived because he was in the backseat, his parents being in the front. He spent 3 years recovering in the hospital, from both a concussion and deformed/broken limbs. During this, his cousins managed to take nearly all the money and other possessions his parents had owned, but Jennkins' parents’ lawyer-friend managed to relieve ownership of Jennkins' father's Celica to Jennkins. After he was out of the hospital, Jennkins was left with nothing but his bones and a Celica. However, a sympathetic friend of Jennkins' dead mother offered Jennkins a job at his art studio, as well as temporary residence. Jennkins graciously accepted. 7 months have passed, and he has been forced to turn to street racing in the past months to pay off for his hospital recovery (his insurance couldn't cover it) and to get money to pay for a new home. But, Jennkins vaguely remembers seeing a glimpse of the face of the man that killed his parents in the hit and run accident, and ever since he began racing, he thinks he has seen that face again... Favorite Food: Tacos Occupation: Works in an art studio Aspirations: Twin Turbo Skills and flaws: He is probably the one of the best gear-shifters out there, but can’t take tighter corners without drifting (good for drift events, but slows him down-a lot). On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 7.85/10- He knows he’s good (he is), but he knows he may well be just another chump with cash to the best racers. Racer Type: Dragster yet driftmeister Residence: Old Quarter, Downtown Palmont Crew: Tandem Kingz [TKz] Theme Song: ‘Chop Suey!’ by System of a Down Versus Blacklist Theme Song: ‘Shapeshifter’ by Celldweller feat. Name: María José López Street name: corazón del fuego Grew up in: Mexico City, Mexico Age: 22 Gender: Female Appearance: Height: 5’ 6” Weight: 120 lbs. Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Build: Average Attire: T-shirt, jeans and running shoes Personality: Level headed and determined Maria doesn’t back down when she is challenged or her character is brought into question. Vehicle: 2003 Ford SVT Lighting Equipment: Cell phone, wallet and keys History: Maria’s up bring was rather normal in the sense that she was not influenced in any major negative way. This is rather surprising since she was born and raised in Mexico City. Maria was the youngest of three children and the only girl. Her father owned a small mechanic's shop in the city so Maria had close to a middle class lifestyle growing up. Often forgotten about Maria spend most of her free time outside school at her father’s shop helping out with small tasks. This was highly enjoyed by Maria and stubbornly accepted by her father. With good grades Maira finished high school and seeking more opportunities for herself migrated north to the United States. After much searching for a job Maria fell into place at a small service shop and soon learned about the world of street racing.(Being both female and from Mexico made the search for a mechanic's job rather challenging). After attending a few races as a spectator and borrowing the shop’s gopher car (A 350Z) started to make a bit of a name for herself. There was a problem though, the racing was more of an all boys club. Pouring her meager saving into a car fund with the mindset of going out and out showing the boys with something a bit different. After saving for some time Maria found a Ford Lighting and with it out showed the boys. With the small scale racing scene done with Maira went out to find more challenges. Favorite Food: Tacos Occupation: Mechanic Aspirations: To prove she is just as good as anyone else. Skills and flaws: Maria’s greatest skill is her determination, her greatest weakness is her lack of skill really. Marai has no real formal racing skills everything she know has been self taught. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 6 Racer Type: Smokeshow Residence: Morgan Beach, Palmount ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Vladimir Glukhovsky aka Joe Andrews Street name: Tsar Grew up in: Moscow, Russia Age: 30 Gender: Male Appearance: Height: 6’ 2” Weight: 180 lbs Hair: Black Eyes: Green Build: Muscular Attire: A simple grey suit with a red tie, black dress shoes and black leather gloves for formal things. A simple army style pant and grey shirt with brown military boots for when things need to be done. Personality: In any reasonable world deranged would best describe Vlad but since he is level headed about what he does he is a high functioning psychotic. In other worlds on the surface Vald comes across as a normal person but do to the mix of upbring and day job he has lost the ability to empathise with people. Vehicle: 1990 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Equipment: M1911, combat knife, wallet, keys, disposable cell. History: Vladimir was born into a poor family during the tail end of Soviet rule just before the soviet collapse in russia. If he were ten years older and born during the glorious height of the USSR Vladimir would have been like so many other disillusioned boys from the slums of society and joined the mighty Red Army but he was born in Russia during the turbulent chaos before the fall of the Soviets. This was the time of self made men, where black was white and white was black, good was evil and evil was good, where lines where not shown and the rules were enforced by the groups welding the most power. The first few years of Vlad's life where hectic and day to day. Schooling was a second thought to him as the winds of change were beginning to blow through the USSR. Being bigger than all the other boys in his neighbourhood Vladimir soon found himself running packages and collecting small change for one of the new criminal groups that were growing in power. It was the summer of 1998 that Vladimir really came of age in many ways. He had been rubbing shoulders with what in simple terms was the Russian Mafia for fourteen years and this was the time that he showed his true worth to the higher ups. A rival group had been making inroads into the neighbourhood that was the home base for Vlad’s employers. The rivals needed to be taken out and Vlad was going to be the look out for the men. Who would think a boy would be a threat? Things went sour as the hit team was jumped on first and decimated. Vald being away from the main action since he was an unproven lackey was the last man standing. Why de did what he did has been lost to the mist but all that is known is that once the clean up crew arrived Vlad was the only one standing. The boy from the slums had taken out seven grown men after they had taken out a team of eight men with nothing more than an iron pipe. The next few years where a time of great change for the boy from the slums as he was trained and honed into a formidable weapon. Jail came and went eight times due to the slow decline of power of the opposing factions. 2013 was the next time of change for Vlad as he was sent out to the glorious shining beacon of good that was the United States to help condense and broaden the power of the Russian Mafia there. Vladimir brought his personal car over with him from Moscow and unassuming Ford Sierra that had served him well in many ways. Favorite Food: Veal Orloff Occupation: Enforcer and mid level boss for the Russian Mafia. Aspirations: This man is not one who is paid to think. Skills and flaws: Racing is more of a pass time or time filler for him. A side job so to speak so Vladimir is not as ‘into it’ as most other people. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 8 Racer Type: Balanced Residence: Downtown Rockport.

Name: Nathan Hardell Street name: Jiagen Grown up in: Seacrest County Age: 22 Gender: Male Appearance:Height: 5' 9" Weight: 151 lbs Hair: Golden, shaved at the sides, long on the top and shorter at the back and fringe Eyes: Brown Build: Average-ish Attire: Shin-length grey jeans, yellow t-shirt, sports sunglasses Personality: He used to be prankster, although he has calmed down a bit now. He still likes to have a laugh, but when he races, he takes the race seriously. Nathan is annoyed when people loaf around instead of doing what they should be. Vehicle: Yellow Dodge Challenger which he found in a Junkyard. It tends to slide a lot and is quick for what it is. Top speed: 170 mph. 0-60: 6.4 secs. 400 bhp. Turbocharged. Equipment: Wallet, iPhone, car keys, small wrench. History: Nathan was born in Seacrest County, but he and his family moved to Olympic City when he was 4 years old. In school, Nathan used to prank his teachers a lot, which often resulted in him getting punished. Eventually, he became more serious and became intelligent. One night, when he was 14, he saw some street racing going on, and from then on, he wanted to become a street racer. He got his driver's licence as soon as he was old enough, and bought a 2nd gen Renault Clio. He tuned it and took it to his first race, which was a sprint race. At first, people underestimated him, but Nathan came second and won a large amount of cash. He got better and better, but then came the race in which he totaled his Clio during a head on collision with a bus. He went to hospital for three months. After getting out of hospital, he was hired by a man called Mark Cray, who wanted him to steal cars for him. However, one time he was stealing a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, he was spotted by the police, which resulted in Nathan having to escape Olympic City. He arrived in Palmont at the age of 20, and decided to start street racing again. He found a Dodge Challenger in a junkyard, repaired and tuned it. Now he drives it in all of his races. Favorite Food: Spaghetti Occupation: Car mechanic Aspirations: To become a well-known street racer. Skills and flaws: Thanks to the fact that his Challenger slides a lot, he is a very good drifter and he is good at driving overall. However, he isn't that good at canyon races that have lots of hairpins. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 7 Racer Type: Speed, Stuntman Residence: Kempton Theme Song: The Prodigy - World's On Fire Versus Jiagen Theme Song: Diesel Boy + Kaos - Barrier Break

Name: Carlos Manuel Ortiz Street name: Diablo Grown up in: Spain Age: 25 Gender: Male Appearance: Height: 5’8” Weight: 180 lbs. Hair: Black, often in a mohawk style Eyes: Brown Build: Average, with some resemblance of muscle tone. Attire: Red t-shirt with blue jeans Personality: Carlos Ortiz is a wild card by nature, and not just in street racing. As both the sport and real life itself are embedded in human nature and luck factors, he will within reason try his hand at things that come his way, even with the knowledge of any possible advantages and disadvantages. Most of his racing experience stems from random street races in Spain and food deliveries for his family, and has also molded him into an agile and technique based driver, utilizing shortcuts and handling to his advantage. Carlos is for the most part a chill character, though he has a habit of picking at other people for his own amusement. He is also into soccer. Vehicle: Gloss red 2005 Honda Civic Type R EP3, with 18” Enkei GT7 wheels in a matte black finish. Stage 1 Engine Stage 1 ECU Equipment: Wallet with money and ID cards and keys to the Civic. In the back of the Civic are tools. History: A man in search for his personal happiness, Carlos Ortiz was born in Spain, in a country not well known for street racing. Despite this, he had always wanted to be a mechanic himself, taken from his father who had a hand (albeit not in building terms but in design) in the development of engines of some popular sports cars. His mother, on the other hand, was in the floral practice, and often was at odds with her own son about the noise he loved to make, both before and after cars. Carlos obtained his first job when he turned 13, doing simple checkups to start for the most part. It was at that time that he saw something that he had never seen prior in his entire life. It was a glorious Championship White Honda NSX, and its owner (from the UK) was visiting Spain on vacation. Right then and there, Carlos was hooked on the brand; he read as many magazines, watched as many videos, and whatever else there was about Honda. His first car, with which he first began his street racing career, was a CRX, obtained at age 16 with his license. As low powered as it was compared with everything else he matched up with in his first race, most of the spectators thought he was one of the top 3 favorites to not win the race. And they ended up being right; however, the notable takeaway from that race was that he finished third (out of eight), far better than most others expected. Most of this was because of the traffic throughout Spain therefore benefitting Carlos a bit, and because of the mistakes of others. This CRX would be Juan’s toy so to speak, as he would spend a great deal of time maintaining the car, doing daily grocery runs in it, and racing in it. Carlos had built a profile of an underdog, but that profile was sometimes overplayed. Such a detail was evident when just the slightest miscalculation (that being, not expecting cross-traffic) cost him the CRX… and nearly his life. Needless to say his parents caught on to what he was doing, and had to pay off the damages with hard work. Carlos graduated from high school a worked man, and days later managed to pay off the CRX. Between then and the graduation Carlos had expressed dreams of going to the United States to run his own shop, and while his parents (Ana Ortiz especially) worried that he may resume his racing antics there, they nevertheless supported his dream… in the form of his graduation gift, a Civic Type R. Carlos made the journey from Spain to California - or Darke County - and arrived in Rosewood, only to see that Hondas were disappointingly in rare supply. With an idea to bring popularity to the red “H” back in the tri-city, Juan got hired as a mechanic in the Heritage Heights Auto Shop... Favorite Food: Ramen noodles Occupation: Mechanic Aspirations: To both climb his way up the Blacklist representing the red ‘H’, and build and maintain his own Honda specialty shop. Skills and flaws: In terms of actual street racing, Carlos is proficient (as is natural when driving Hondas) at technical tracks, the experience for which stems mostly from his grocery runs in both Rosewood and his native Spain. He is also a proficient specialist in tuning Hondas. Carlos is neither an avid power freak nor drifter, and is therefore inexperienced at both drag and drift. Also a considerable flaw is his tendency to overplay his underdog role, with which he relies on it to a fault, which could land him in some truly tough situations in races. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 7.25 Racer Type: Time Attacker Residence: Heritage Heights, Rosewood Crew: None Theme Song: Gypsy Pistoleros - Pistolero Versus [insert your character street name here] Theme Song: (Optional)

Has tattoos covering most of his arms. Personality: Straightforward. Vehicle: 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302. Legit copy/restoration. 6-Speed Manual Transmission Swap S1 NOS (1 bottle, 7 kg) and Tires S2 Suspension and Brakes Grey 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab with a black box trailer (used to store the Boss Mustang in) Equipment: Keys, wallet, cellular, Remington Model 870, baseball bat, pack of cigarettes, lighter. History: (To be filled later, deadpoolv will help. The history is also going to explain how he got certain skills outside street racing which were mentioned in skills & flaws) Favorite Food: Steak Occupation: Kempton junkyard worker Aspirations: Destroying Vincent along with the other Wraiths members for what they’ve done to his brother. No fucks given in rest. Skills and flaws: Jeff’s strengths are great reaction time and roads knowledge as he spent pretty much his entire life racing in Darke County. These strengths also allow Jeff to exceed in rush hour races filled with traffic and do well against cops. Plus, Jeff has serious experience with Drag racing. His flaws can be put in two words without further explications needed; agility and arrogance. If you get in the way of his racing line, don’t expect Jeff to slow down. Now this can be both a strength and weakness depending on other factors. It may also get him in conflicts but Jeff don’t gives a fuck anyways. He may even ram you intentionally. Outside street racing Jeff is a good marksman and weapon user. He’s skilled in street fighting and mechanics too. Treating him is a risk. However if he can strike Vincent or the other Wraiths members, everything may or may not go to shit for him and the others. Name: Ai Takashima Street name: ゆき (Yuki) (Snow) Grew up in: Japan Age: 24 Gender: Female Appearance: Height: 4’8” Weight: 98 lbs Hair: Chin length, straight, black with white highlights at the tips. Eyes: Black Build: Slender, ruler body shape, flat chested. Attire: White long sleeved blouse, black skinny jeans/black knee length skirt, gray boots. On colder days, white overcoat as well. Personality: Friendly and kind, usually cheerful. She can be a little quiet around complete strangers and anyone who manages to annoy her. Tends to take short naps several times a day. Whenever it’s raining, she likes to simply watch the rain fall. Also, she dislikes people who make fun of her height. Vehicle: 2013 Toyota 86, GT Limited trim, Gloss White. Performance: S1 ECU, Supercharger, Brakes. Dry CF Trunk [Painted] Equipment: White purse (with money, makeup, a driving license and other stuff), android mobile phone, a tablet that she carries in a bag along with a couple other things, like the keys to the 86. History: Ai was born in Japan, where she led a mostly average, if a little ‘easy’ life. This was because her parents were quite well off, allowing her to (not without some effort on her part, usually in the form of above average grades at school) get what she asked for. While this did provide her with good general knowledge and the like, it made her (perhaps mistakenly) believe that effort was always rewarded. This continued until around the time of her high school graduation, when Ai decided that she wanted to see a little bit more of the world and study abroad. Though initially her parents were against it, eventually they yielded.. on the condition that the entire family moves there for that period. With that, Ai moved to the US and ended up in Darke County where her family eventually settled in Fortuna, one of the more upper class parts of Palmont. It was there that she spent the next several years, studying at a college in Rosewood. Over that time, she started taking driving lessons as her college was quite the distance away from her dwelling and public transportation was beginning to get tiresome. Having started her first lessons towards the end of 2011, initially she was doing quite well. However, when the winter season started, the weather took a surprising turn: snowfall. That wasn’t particularly strange to Ai, but it was unusual for California. This would prove to be a problem at the beginning, though it did not make it difficult for her to drive. The actual difficulty was that the driving school did not appreciate Ai actively trying to get the (front wheel drive) car she’d been taking lessons in sideways. Eventually, after several more attempts, she managed to pass her driving exam. However it would not be until after she had graduated from college that she would actually put her newly acquired driving license to any use. That ‘use’ came in the form of a 2013 Toyota 86, a slightly late graduation gift given to Ai by her parents. While they were well aware of what she’d most probably use it for, they figured that it was a safer bet than having her attempt drifting in a FWD car as they knew that by this point they had little to no influence over her in that respect. This interest in drifting, though, was not something new as Ai had spectated some drifting events back in her high school days, though she wasn’t able to join in as she neither had the car nor the skills(or so she believed). It was also there that she met her best friend, Natsumi Chikamatsu. As it turned out, they both were fond of drifting even if that was initially limited to just watching other drivers. Eventually, it resulted in Ai developing quite an impressive(for as little experience at the wheel as she had) drifting ability that made her feel confident enough to start competing with other drivers. Though she wasn’t of a particularly competitive spirit, she saw no fun in finishing last all the time. Favorite Food: Ramen Occupation: None. Aspirations: To see exactly how good she is at drifting… and to have fun while at it. Skills and flaws: Drifting is certainly Ai’s greatest strength, followed by a good sense of timing and quick thinking. However, she is actually better at driving sideways than straight therefore she is not quite as good in the more traditional forms of racing. As such, she handles RWD cars the best with AWD being a somewhat secondary choice. Finally, she doesn’t do well in drag racing at all and so she avoids it. After all, it is precisely about going quickly straight ahead... On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 6. She knows she’s not bad. Racer Type: Technique Residence: Palmont, South Fortuna Theme song: - Versus Yuki theme song: Yousei Teikoku - Deep Sea

Name: Jason Arnold Walker
Street name: Sword
Hails: ‘Murica, San Francisco
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Appearance: 6 foot tall, muscular-ish build, short brown hair and black eyes. Wears a white or gray t-shirt, usually blue jeans(sometimes black). On colder days, might add a leather vest on top of the t-shirt. Usually wears some decent-ish running shoes.
Personality: Jason is straightforward in a roundabout sort of way. Typically he won’t hide his dislike of you, but you’re unlikely to see it off the track. Most of the time, if you piss him off the track then you’ll end up facing the wrong way at one point or another when you face him on the streets. That aside though, he’s somewhat easy going and impulsive. Which typically results in some on-track violence. Though to be fair, he doesn’t punch people for no reason so if he can get ahead without screwing up his ride he will. Otherwise? Too bad. The one thing that does manage to piss him off is people who can’t back up their claims or just plain cowards. Conversely, he does value those that do manage to prove their worth.
Vehicle: 1970 Dodge Charger 500 Performance: 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Transmission swap (Tremec TR6060, 6-speed) S1 Engine S1 Turbo /w Anti-lag system S2 Drivetrain S1 Suspension S1 Brakes S1 Tires Rebuilt chassis Chassis Brace Foam Filled Chassis 6-Point Rollcage Lightweight Front Seats Removed Rear Seats Dry Carbon Fiber Hood Visuals: Metallic Silver body, matte black 15” Centerline Qualifier wheels
Equipment: Keys to the turboCharger, a wrench, wallet, mobile phone.
History: Jason hails from SF, where he spent the last 28 years of his life, more or less. Though he did go through high school, he never really cared much for ‘education’. From a young age he wanted to build cars and didn’t care about the future, or rather the financial part. He’d manage, somehow. He began by building up an old GT500 from scratch, as all he had was a slightly beat up, stripped down body and a (toast) engine. That was also where his ‘methods’ disagreed with the general idea of a muscle car ‘project’. He got rid of the engine, throwing in a modern V8, and slowly went on to refit the suspension, drivetrain and other parts of the car using similarly more advanced components. In short, he wouldn’t bother with original parts and authenticity.
That is not to say he had something against classic muscle cars, he simply wasn’t much of a fan of any specific car type. Which meant that as long as the car was back up and running, it didn’t matter who made the engine, what was the displacement or whether the suspension was appropriately ‘vintage’. Having owned the GT500 for a few years at this point, and with the project nearing completion Jason began looking for another car to build. That, however, did not go so smoothly as it was around that time that an earthquake hit his hometown, causing chaos and moderate damage to most of the area he lived in. Sadly, it also caused an old tree to fall down and heavily damage his GT500. This caused Jason to make a bold move(quite literally) and saw him leave both the wreck of his car, and San Francisco, behind. His little journey took him to Rockport, where he found a cheap place to live in Rosewood and, after a little searching, a suitable replacement for his Shelby. It would be an old Charger that he’d choose to bring back to life.
This time, fortunately, the engine was in working order so he only replaced some of the aged parts with similar, modern versions. The only exception was the addition of a turbo, as he wasn’t going to bother looking for a supercharger. Next up was the less straightforward side of things, namely making the car actually turn. The Charger’s chassis was overhauled, with the suspension, brakes and old rims being upgraded or replaced entirely. Its’ old transmission was next to go, replaced by a new unit from a modern Challenger. Finally, bits of the body were replaced with carbon fiber, and the most of the interior was turned into something out of a track car rather than a street muscle car.
Once the project was complete, he put off looking for the next build and focused his efforts on testing his creation… on the streets of Rosewood.
Favorite Food: Pizza.
Occupation: None. Unless streetracing. He does fix up and sell cars at a profit, sometimes.
Aspirations: Turbocharged He wants to build the ultimate street racing machine and prove his worth along the way.
Skills and flaws: He’s an all around racer who excels at straight line sections. He’s willing to go quite far in high speed situations. One of his flaws is that he’s somewhat impulsive, so at times he would rather PIT your sorry ass for ramming him earlier rather than focus on winning. This impulsiveness might also see him do things he’ll regret later.
On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 7 If his machine can’t win it, he will. Besides, he built the thing. He doesn’t do shoddy jobs.
Racer Type: Speed.
Residence: Rosewood
Crew: None.

Name: Lacey Lauren Lovato Street name: Platinum Grown up in: Ocean View, Fortuna Age: 27 Gender: Female Appearance: Height: 5’3” Weight: 125 lb. Hair: Shoulder-length, brown and wavy Eyes: Gray Build: Hourglass body shape, a bit on the full side with an above-average bust. Tanned skin. Attire: A low-cut white top with a white jacket, and blue jeans with knee-high boots. Also wears a pair of horn-rimmed sunglasses with a few jewelry pieces installed, and a black beret. Personality: Perhaps a byproduct of living in the wealthier Fortuna borough (and her occupation), Lacey has an unwavering passion to be successful. Since her teenage years, the thought of wealth - be it establishing connections, gaining reputation (or envy, depending on how you look at it), and the like - has and still does tickle her fancy. Lacey is a social butterfly and an outstanding actress, but her background gives her a snobby attitude toward both at friends and at enemies. It may be a crass aura, but show off if you got it, right? In racing, she prefers to keep her car in mint condition and therefore will despise anyone that dares make a dent, but don’t think it means she won’t be aggressive when need be. Despite her rather show-offy antics, Lacey loves the look of a sports car untouched by gaudy* rims or ricey spoilers. *Keyword Vehicle: Marble white 2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata GT, completely stock visual-wise. Equipment: Small white purse (contains wallet, money, IDs, makeup, and sunglass case, keys to both cars), a Nokia Lumia 1520, and two notebooks, one for lyrics and one for scripts. History: Since her birth, Lacey had dreamed of making it big in America, and being the daughter of a wealthy entrepreneur (Ralph Lovato, of Italian descent) and a jazz singing mother (Tamara Davis, of English descent), she had an inherited headstart over many others; albeit that would be an advantage that she would come to disapprove of. Throughout her early years, Lacey was enamored by her mother’s singing talents, often to the point of (trying to) duplicate her mother’s work in public. That act of flattery would assume that Lacey’s dream in life would be to sing jazz music. But it was not that simple. In her first year in junior high school, she had auditioned for a play, specifically “Bye Bye Birdie”. That audition did not garner the success she intended, as while her singing was phenomenal, her acting and dancing especially were subpar. The initial reaction came in the form of tears, and evolved to one of determination to improve, because who feels sorry for one who fails? Tamara had about as much experience in the two fields of fine arts performing as her daughter did, and in response Lacey expressed interest in joining the Drama Club. Originally discovered as a way to at least improve her acting ability, she soon realized that one of the members was also on the dance team, essentially turning the endeavor into a “two birds, one stone” benefit. It is important to note that the member did not have a boatload of experience, but it would be experience put to good use. Such would be proven as she improved between the sixth and seventh grades, and the improvement was more than enough to get her name called on the list for “Cats”. It was a rather minor female role and her performance was fairly good, but for Lacey, improvement was improvement. She did however continue to practice so that she could aim for a female lead. Her singing in random public places and spontaneous, sudden re-enactment of certain movie scenes gained her a lot of attention, and (for the most part) a lot of positive feedback. In due time (junior in high school), Lacey finally landed her desired female lead role, in “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. So proud was her parents, both in her lead role and during her graduation that they offered to buy her a gift, to which Lacey openly and passionately spoke against it (although she would inevitably let them due to her rather insufficient amount of funds). This gift turned out to be the obligatory (and in this case, very flashy) first car, a Mazda MX-5. Lacey admired it not for its power, but that it contained the styling of the many exotic cars found roaring through Fortuna’s East-L.A.-like atmosphere. Which brings us to how she got involved in street racing. She had caught word of one via rumors around Palmont University during her chase for a Bachelor’s degree, and out of interest checked it out. She was sternly forbidden from even so much as watching it in her parents’ household, but in her new digs in Ocean View she could get clear glimpses and blurs of cars passing by every night, to the point where she herself joined in one race. She would ultimately not win due to inexperience, but the adrenaline rush encouraged Lacey enough to make it a hobby. Favorite Food: Spaghetti & Meatballs Occupation: Actress Aspirations: #1 on the blacklist, no two-steppin’, no sugarcoating. And being #1 on the blacklist means money, fame, reputation, fans, admirers, etc. So yeah, basically to be the Queen of Darke County. Skills and flaws: Lacey, despite her racer type, has a healthily balanced skill set when it comes to street racing. Reflexes, reaction time, and a sense of awareness are not the most sharpened amongst the racing crowd, but they are apparent. The downside to being a balanced racer, is that Lacey does not truly excel in any one aspect of racing. One of the catch-22s that she has is that she can drift, but is impeded by her tastes in sports cars (namely, the mid-engine, rear-drive layout). Social-wise, Lacey’s mouth can get her into trouble with certain people, and in some cases can deny her the admiration she desires. In addition to acting, she has exceptional singing and dancing abilities. On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 9. Like I said, show off if you got it. Name: Nagato Azuma Street Name: Soul Age: 27 Gender: Male Appearance: Height: 5’7’’ Weight: 184 lbs. Build: Slightly Muscular Hair: Black, medium length spiked. Eyes: Black Attire: Nagato wears a black leather jacket with blue flames on the left sleeve with a short sleeved black t-shirt underneath, dark blue jeans and running shoes. Usually wears black sunglasses as well. When the weather is less friendly, the shirt is replaced by a long sleeved one with a black leather trench coat over it, which keeps the blue flame design. In addition, he has a tattoo indicating he belongs to the Yakuza though it is usually hidden by his attire. Personality: Laid back and carefree, Nagato doesn’t worry about too many things and just goes with the flow of life. While he is not actively looking for ways to make some money, he can and will exploit every opportunity to earn it if one presents itself. He is usually honourable and as such, will not attack someone who is defenseless, be it verbally, physically or otherwise. At the same time, however, he has no qualms about siding with the ‘bad’ guys, which typically sees him cooperate with crime organizations as if it was merely a business deal. Vehicles: 2000 Nissan Silvia S15 Autech Performance: R34 GT-T Transmission Swap, S1 Drivetrain, S1 Roots Supercharger, S1 Handling (No WR) 6-Point Rollcage Visuals: Pearl White paint job, Samurai-Integra style hood livery(i.e hood is CF, soft blue flame vinyls on top of that) Nismo decals, soft blue flames on the sides. 19" Rays Nismo Monoblock rims (Silver) INGS R-spec aero kit Dry CF Hood Dark Black window tint Front emblem(on the hood) replaced with a blue version, rear “Silvia” emblem replaced with "Soul" in the same font. Smoked taillights Blue Flame exhaust kit A decent sound system. Custom License plate: 0015-S0UL 1969 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R Performance: S15 5-Speed Swap Visuals: Cream White paintjob. Equipment: Android phone, concealed M1911 pistol, car keys (S15 and C10). History: Hailing from Japan, Nagato grew up around street racers and with his family’s car mechanic business, he learned a thing or two about performance tuning. As time passed, Nagato realized he did not want to spend his life working in a car performance shop even if it was interesting enough for him, and so he started looking for trouble. Eventually, he found plenty of it in Yakuza. Although he wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about their activities, they needed someone to be out there and keep tabs on the street racing world, and he was able to provide that. A few years later, the organization decided to try and extend their reach to the US, starting out in Darke County, and ordered Nagato to continue doing his job there. Having spent most of his money on various cars that came and went, he was left with no money and an inadequate car. However, being the great(in his opinion) businessman he was, he eventually managed to find a source of money, in the form of blackmailing his brother. Suffice to say, as with every proper blackmailing attempt, there was a secret that needed to be kept from someone and there was money to be made, and so they’ve come to an agreement, or how Nagato would put it, a very profitable business deal. With the money, he could more than afford a good car, and after asking around certain shady individuals, he managed to find a rare Autech Silvia. When all was said and done, he had a car and quite a bit of money left, which he used to completely change the Nissan’s looks and deal with any performance issues it had. Using the remaining money, he took the first ship to the US, and eventually found himself in Palmont. When his life in Palmont was established, he came into possession of a rare Skyline 2000 GT-R, a feat that usually would be deemed difficult, or at least time consuming, although for Nagato it was merely a case of finding the car... and obtaining it, not necessarily the usual way. Favorite Food: Sushi Theme Song(s): Soul theme: Midnight Club 2 - Title Screenvs. Soul: Brain 30 - Brain Train (Psycho TB 303 Mix) Occupation: Low ranking Yakuza member Aspirations: Uh...aspirations? Wouldn’t mind getting rich, but having fun is just fine. wutustarinat Skills and flaws: Highly proficient at visual customization, with mechanic skills at an acceptable level, due to his dealings with Yakuza he is also rather skilled at using small firearms like handguns and submachine guns. Wherever there is money to be made, Nagato can find more. Driving-wise, he is an all around racer although he prefers to avoid drag racing. Most of time, Nagato does not start ramming on his own, but if anyone nudges his car he has no problems with making their life hell. The only area he does excel at is night racing, as that was when nearly every race he participated in back home took place. Unfortunately, his carefree attitude tends to get him in trouble with other people, as he might not understand the emotional part of their problems. He is difficult to irritate but once someone gets on his nerves or crosses him, the grudge is held eternally which tends to cause awkward (and dangerous) situations. Crew: None. Residence: Billings District (Downtown Palmont) On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 6, he knows he’s fairly good, but is also aware that there are better drivers out there.

History: Takumi spent his teenage life delivering tofus in his father's Corolla AE86. Sometimes he will go to the mountain roads so he can practice in drifting and driving. He discovered that he is really good at it. One night, while driving in the same place, another racer challenged him. This racer drives a FD3S RX-7 with the sign "Redsuns" on RX-7's rear sides. Eventually, Tak pulled a difficult drift stunt which leads him to discovery. Months later, he was gaining respect in other racers because of Tak's drifting techniques. However, while racing with a racer the engine of AE86 blew up due to overheating and giving away too much power that it reached the power limit of AE86. Few weeks later, he's back with his upgraded AE86 (picture on top, first stage has no carbon fiber hood) and he can race properly now. He became a street mountain racer legend by defeating the stongest and the most fastest racer in mountain racing. This guy drives Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (BNR32) and he was defeated by Tak. Name: Ichiro Amaya Street name: Fixer Grown up in: Japan Age: 27 (07.12.1986) Gender: Male Appearance: Height: 5’9’’ Weight: 136 lbs Hair: Black, short Eyes: Black Build: Average, strong enough to do mechanic stuff though. Attire: Mostly wears a black shirt and pants along with some running shoes. In addition, he puts on racing gloves for all his races. Personality: Calm and focused. In general, tends to look at a situation or race logically. Usually appreciates anyone who can show actual skill without relying on pure power or ramming. The latter, he dislikes to the point where he considers both those doing it and racing them a waste of time. For the most part, he’ll help you out if you find yourself in trouble but ram him or one of his friends, and he won’t hesitate to leave you to your own devices if you ever get in over your head. As such, he mostly hangs out with the clean drivers(or keeps to himself, if there are none). On a side note, he is quite persistent and as such… it is very difficult to stop him from street racing. Vehicle: 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Visuals: Aspen White paintjob, classic golden Subaru wheels. Equipment: A lightweight, powerful laptop (rarely, carried around in a bag, otherwise kept at home). Keys to the Subaru. Wallet with some money and a credit card inside. Racing gloves (usually kept somewhere in the car, except for, you know, when he’s racing). History: Ichiro was born in Japan, at a time when street racing was a rather popular activity. It came as no surprise that eventually he, too, became interested in being a street racer. At the time, though, he knew next to nothing about cars whether it was their inner workings or even which ones were the top of the line models and which were the A to B, grocery getter kind of cars. By the time he was in high school, the scene had moved forward. There were new cars, technological advancements and more ‘legal’ ways to keep the speed high and the police far away. It was at that time that he, now being 17 years old, acquired his first car: A 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Though far from being the best out there, that car allowed Ichiro to slowly but surely rise up in the world of street racing. That is not to say he immediately became (in)famous. Most of his successes were in local, low level street races in his hometown of Kyoto. As he continued racing, it was only natural that his car would eventually break down or suffer damage. This would serve to remind him that he still knew little about what made his car work the way it did. Not wanting to rely on others’ help in maintaining his Mitsubishi, Ichiro would spend plenty of time in the garage learning how to, through trial and error, bring his vehicle back to a good, running condition. Though intially it took large amounts of time, causing him to be out of action for quite a while every time a part of the Eclipse broke down or it suffered damage due to some more violent racers, eventually he managed to get the hang of not only fixing his car (though he would often leave any more complicated bodywork repairs to the pros) but also upgrading it. Two years later, it became apparent that even with a few upgrades and some skill, the Eclipse was not up to the task anymore. There were better cars out there and it was clear to Ichiro that he needed a new ride. This would bring about the purchase of his second car, a white Subaru Impreza WRX STi, which he managed to do by spending all of his earnings from street racing and, unfortunately, trading in his first vehicle. The WRX STi, which at the time was the newest iteration of the Impreza, allowed Ichiro to really go far, rising beyond the local level competition and, with minor upgrades, running with the top drivers. Unfortunately, street racing started to become increasingly more difficult due to increasing police interference and the rising popularity of legal ‘track day’ racing, the latter of which attracted most of the high end, rich drivers. Knowing he would not be able to continue honing his abilities in his hometown, and that it would likely be the case for the rest of the country, Ichiro decided to move to the US(?), where street racing was still very much alive and well. That, however, did not happen immediately as he had dedicated most of his prior earned money to the purchase, upkeep and minor upgrades of his Subaru. It would not be until 2011 that he managed to move across the ocean, and it took an additional year to bring his WRX (which, over that period of time, was looked after by one of his few friends) into the country. Finally able to resume his little ‘quest’, Ichiro began looking for actual places where he could find some opponents. It was then that it became apparent the police in the US wasn’t planning on letting the illegal sport continue for too long. Though the results were not as immediate as in Japan, several cities’ street racing scenes have had met their end by the time Ichiro imported his Subaru into the US. As such, it took a while until he found a hotspot of streetracing… and that period of ‘inactivity’ caused him to realize something that he should have noticed far earlier: Street racing was not going to be around forever. And neither was he going to always win(or even find opponents to race against). With that in mind, and knowing the only actual skill he had other than driving was doing repair work and upgrading cars, he knew that it was high time to start earning money using those abilities as well rather than just working on his own car. With that in mind, he spent the better part of the next two years trying to start a ‘career’(however strange it sounded) as a car mechanic. Initially, this wasn’t as easy as he thought it would, as the only experience he had was, ironically, fixing up his Eclipse GSX and (with some improvement in driving on his part, and carefully picking his fights) doing minor upgrades on the Impreza. Thus, he had to start by helping out those who had issues with these cars and their newer iterations. It was only around mid-2014 that he was able to open his own garage in (name of city) and work on more varied cars. Though not the best, he had become a decent mechanic for most cars… except for his own, which he probably knew better than mostly any mechanic out there. With his own garage, and a capable(if not the most ‘modern’ out there) car, Ichiro began to once again race on the streets. This time, it would be in (name of city)... Favorite Food: Huh? Mostly anything is fine, as long as it’s not junk food. Though, he is a bit partial to food from his home country... Occupation: Car mechanic. Aspirations: To become the best street racer. No need for money and fame. Skills and flaws: His specialty are tracks that involve tough conditions. Rain, night, offroad, snow… you name it, he’s done it. On dry asphalt, he’d much rather compete in technical sprints rather than long highway runs or simple circuits. Ichiro avoids drag racing as it is neither what he wants to compete in nor what his car has been built to do. Drift… what does that have to do with racing, again? Oh and, he can work on any Subaru Impreza you want, preferably his own(though he’ll help you out… for a price). On a scale of 1-10,1 being terrible and 10 being best driver in existence, how well does your character think he/she drives? 7. He’s not the best yet, and he may never be but he will improve. Racer Type: Rally. Residence: Point Camden. Crew: None. Not really looking for one either, at least not now. Theme Song: Ekstrak - Belt Versus Fixer Theme Song: Jack Handerson - Syntrax
