Hm, could be just a detailed 2d model or also just a section of an concept artwork as you can see the battle of the Lambo vs. Mitsubishi? is of a concept art.

Nice find, but I think that it is just concept art. I found it in better quality: look at the left of the image. It looks like Beta City. Why always Lancer in Beta pics? Dude, just think a little and open your eyes! Beta City??? What, its doesn't have anything alike with Palmont nor the concept map. You can clearly see that the background is a real photo of a city...I don't know which it could be tho, but the bridges at the river could help. |

Sorry, but this doesn't prove anything to me.There's indeed no sure prove that it is the "beta city" just because the older map randomly has a river or sth... There are false thoughts in the video and the road he mentions is a bridge in the artwork, onthe map he highlights a road around it In the concept art its an articifial river and the roads on the map don't match the one's from the concept art, it also lacks the bridges and the shore is curvy. I still throw in its a photo of a real city at dusk they choose for the scenery. I did a quick drawing of the river section we can see, unlike in the video the location must be along the river and not far north to it if we take the demo map.   |

You know the game is split into tuner, muscle and exotic and their territories??? That's why  there's always a tuner, an exotic and a muscle car to promote the new system. The cars can be overall random and they might appear so often because of the same reason but also may been the cars they simply choose for the trailers and previews. |

actually this promo pic was done WAY before they did the final map, possibly even before the alpha map (mistakenly called the MC map). MW explains the concept well - EA just wanted to emphasize the fact that canyons are close to palmont (or maybe they even wanted canyons to be accessible from free roam, but then it turned out impossible to do so they cancelled it. lookout point being present on the alpha map might be some proof to this)

i remember something for the "big battle" at san juan.there were 8 racers and every one of them were in 1 crew each[or 2 members of 1 crew]so theres drivers that doesnt even have crew.leader of each crew
scorpios leader:lancer evo
kings leader:lambo murcielago
los colibries leader:corvette zr6
inferno leader:dodge viper gt
black hearts leader:mercedes mclaren
rotor 4 leader:subaru impreza
silver car crew leader:lambo gallardo
and minor racers that have no crew.the fastess minor crew is silver car crew.they might be small but as i know there fast enough.i played nfsc beta 4 years ago
