There is a thread like this, but with the top games, and I like to yell and complain about everything, so I made this thread.
Post your bottom 10 (or whatever) NFS list.
Worst-
Need for Speed Shift 2
Funny story: I buy this game, play it for less than 5 minutes, and then bring it back to the store. Why? Because it's utter shit.
Need for Speed Rivals
It is fun for 2 hours or so, but after that, have fun with bugs and repetitive, easy gameplay. I only play this game to drive the Pagani Huayra in all honesty.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (I think)
Played this game for a little, did not have fun. Handling felt bad, cars looked bad, cops sucked, police helicopters dropped bombs (really?), and was overall lacking for my tastes.
Need for Speed the Run
I have a strange situation with this game. I hate it, but like it. And that just makes me hate it more. I dislike the game because of the short storyline (wasn't even a career), boring challenge series (IMO), lack of well-gauged difficulty (cough cough Extreme mode cough cough), lacking low-end car selection, etc. It was fun to play, don't get me wrong. But my true problem with this game is BlackBox. They could've done a WAY better job, and I know people will disagree, but the game felt hollow, lacking, and soulless. Yes, BB were overworked, and may have been a bit forced to use frostbite, but would it still be that hard to add in a bit of free roam or better customization? Too much focus on high-end exotic car choice, and too much focus on story (making it short).
It just... doesn't feel like a Need for Speed title to me.
-Least poor (no numbers because I can't remember certain games in the series I have played)

Worst -- MW '12 -- The worst PC game I ever played. You drive veyron, turn left and what ?? it goes straight !! 10 hours long "crash screen", no customisation, stupid police. I have it now on Vita. It have good multiplayer, but nothing more.

It's ironic how @tuff can like the boring Rivals, call everybody that hates this game as a ricer, but hate the old games that looks kinda similar (as I said) to Rivals.

All the NFS games I've played are good in their own way, some more than others. If I were to pick the least good one... you guys should know me well enough by now to tell what my pick is - World. Nowadays, that crap is just full of gambling, hackers, bugs, rammers, etc. I honestly don't give a shit about the IGC rotations anymore because the game is UNPLAYABLE to me. And when it has developers like in this period, they're just greedy cunts serving EA which seems to use all its play4free games as their personal cash cows. A sad part is that some of these devs may actually want to improve the damn game, but there's no chance with EA as the publisher because they won't let them. I've known one of these devs - Eduardo Agostini. What a humble guy, I mean really. He was the art director of NFSW and some years ago on World-Garage.com, he spoke up to me and other WG members. Some may not believe me, but I know for sure he was an actual developer of NFSW. The admin of WG back then had good relations with BB, so he was able to confirm that this guy was the real Eduardo Agostini. Among other things, he told me how nobody will let him do anything at all to improve the game. Since he was the art director, it had to do with the closed roads between Rockport and Kempton, plus the canyons which were supposed to be added in North of Fortuna/West of Silverton. Eduardo also told me something about the draw bridges from the closed roads between Rockport and Kempton. Anyways, we know for sure that the canyons were 95% finished or something because Marc De Vellis himself (former NFSW dev) admitted it before in an Ask Marc episode! There was even this sign at a point in the game which got removed later on ![]()  Also watch this Or this These proofs are undeniable. What EA did to NFSW is just disgusting. It makes me sick. Eduardo left the team and to become a developer of NFS The Run. I have no idea what happened to him afterwards. There you have one true but sad tale. |
