5 the oval race track looks like it's based on Daytona Intl Speedway (NASCAR), dunno if the infield track is accurate, but it could be the from Daytona...
It even could be a leftover from NASCAR Thunder 2004 or NASCAR 2005 tho Black Box didn't have anything with EA Tiburon/Sports, they probably used this track for high speedtests during development of U2 and the huge field could be for speed, brake, steering, driving assists and crash tests...

late on in development the song "Atmosphere - Keys to Life vs. 15 Minutes of Fame" was removed from the game.
It was in a very rare game reviewer demo disc, that contained a similar (but modified) version of the burnout demo of the game, featuring music that i believe was not yet fully licensed by EA.
Anybody want to help track the game reviewer demo disk?

vgost.wikia.com/wiki/Need_For_Speed_Underground_2According to this it was in the first demo of the game with a NFS U2 remix of Get Low...also when searchin the song it is listed to be in Underground 2, or known that it was. You would need to search PS2 (or xbox) demo discs, most likely on ebay or amazon.

"it used to come on when you went in garages, i remember being gutted when it wasnt on the proper game  " atmosphere was set to menu track/garage track by default. |
