Okay, so we all know the big mountain in Fairhaven City, right? Well, if you don't, here's a pic: Well, what if I told you that this mountain is also seen in Seacrest County in eagle ridge? Don't believe me? Compare that tallest mountain to the one in MW2012 and then tell me if you still doubt it or not.........if this is true, maybe the abandoned airfield in fairhaven used to be a commuter airport to the seacrest county airfield................ Theory Map coming soon.

Finally a good theory started for FrostBite Era. I think it is this copypasting method of taking models, buildings etc. from one NFS game to another one.

Could be, but as far as we know, open world games like to reference their previous titles, I think this might be valid.

secrest county was working on a highway system (HP2010) and so was fairhaven. do you think they connect?? maybe they are but presence of highway is not proof cuz almost all big cities(Fairhaven, Rockport) and countie(Seacrest, Redview Counties) has it. BTW why do you have such stupid nickname? I mean seriously you cannot have an original nick? Or at least not shit like 123lollol?

@prepsi After longer time i think that Seacrest and Fairhaven are on opposite sides of mountain (different angle of view at mountain) and mountain has nearly same shape, they're just rotated in different direction. It's quite possible for them to be connected.

For me they cannot be compared Look at the mountain in Most Wanted and mountain in Hot Pur'suit. In Most Wanted its pretty undetailed and in Hot Pursuit it looks like it has a HD texture. In conclusion is it worth to worsen quality of textures to copy them throughout games? For me they are just trademarks(somehow). They are there to symbolize highest place on the map.

I don't think EA want to connect these two.

Isn't Seacrest County an island? no its on bigger landmass. On map we can see small western part of 'State' where county is placed.

Seacrest County's (like Redview County) located and based off on the west coast of the US, specifically Californian territories. If you look at both pictures, you can see major differences, in fact the place in Hot Pursuit is I believe in the northern territories way over sea level and has snow all around. In Most Wanted the mountains top seems to be much more closer and not as high, I also don't see snow. Note, looking at the Fairhaven map it has the ocena to the south, which would place it south to Seacrest, however, the south and east of Seacrest is a large desert territory, the surrounding of Fairhaven is rocky and has trees. I located the place in the screenshot of Most Wanted, and you look to the north east, the mountain you see the is probably the mountain between the southern highway and northern highway behind the mountain, or the large mountain in the very north, however both can't be near Seacrest... Eagle Crest Road is the northest road in Seacrest County, if I'm guessing right you're looking near the highway interchange (behind you), the mountain you see is in the north, you look to the east. I'm also not sure where to place Fairhaven, East Coast or West Coast...

I don't get it??
Just cause the city roads in the Seacrest territory? That's just random, I bet placing Rockport on Palmont (and vice versa) or Bayview on... also works...in fact both maps are so small they would fit on Seacrest map without problems.
And I bet you moved the road map until it matched the Seacrest map.

Isn't Seacrest County an island? no its on bigger landmass. On map we can see small western part of 'State' where county is placed. that could just be a part of the island, look at the main island of hawaii, it's HUUUUUGE, so it's possible that seacrest and fairhaven are on a island [kind of like gta5 lol]

It's obviously not on an island but a fictional county in southern or mid california, just like Redview and which pacific island has all those kinds of climate differences? Snow on top of the mountains, huge deserts? Non-tropical forests but redwood trees and others...you only find those in CA.

About the map: that just shows that NFSMW 2012 was made on the basis of HP2010. how else they were able to make it in 9 months.

The map doesn't show anything...god damn I got some beer but damn seriously?
Some dude just placed the road map on the Seacrest County map to fit its geographical size/shape...that's all, nothing else...the coast side (land) looks similar to fairhaven (land), but that's most likley random.
Oh and what people don't understand, every NFS was in development for at least 2 years, they usually split or hire the team then the other game is in mid development.
e.g.
NFS Most Wanted development reached spring 2005, at that time Carbon started, Fall 205 MW releases, early 2006 NFS Pro Street started, Fall 2006 Carbon released, early 2007 Undercover...
