Forget about battlefield 3. After update fire is almost everywhere in desert zone. maybe its random fire. Bushed gets on fire cuz heat, but then why its smoking so much? |

could we get back to the fire? I don't see how BF3 and Rivals could be connected, just because their is a fire in one place and a fire in another, doesn't mean much. and BF3 takes place in 2014, so it could be something else.

Anyway, I think it is nothing more than just something to fill the desert and to entertain you with. It's just to fill the empty and boring desert. Nothing but decoration.

There's also a large forest fire in HP2 (PS2) on National Forest with smoke covering a road section, there are bonfires on PC and PS2 too.
I think in Rivals its just a fire in the desert cause of the heat, nothing special...there are fires every year in California and other countries.
It's just a grapical possibility like other weather effects to make the world more dynamic...remember there's an active vulcan in HP2.

So. Im after this: 1.Its somehow an Easter Egg to BF3. 2.Its "connecting" with Firestorm and NFS. Cars use Oil. Why don't put burning oil pits in the game?  Sorry if veering off-topic, but... "Cars use Oil." Well, most cars in my home country use natural gas as fuel instead of oil. Oil's ridiculously expensive there. Oil is expensive everywhere. or was I thinking of gasoline? IDK, still expensive |
