I only see 1 difference wich is that blocked road opened

If I'm not wrong, there are just one more beta map:  I remember that was my first post in NFS Theories. I still remember how I was anxious to try to help the forum to solve all Carbon mysteries, lol nfstheories.boards.net/post/1233 |

At first I found no difference except for Jackson Heights... but with Ruben's post.. DAMN!!! great finding and there were 2 mystery roads there....

Look at both maps airport area. It's totally different from final one's.

I personally like the 2nd map best. It's missing some roads in Beacon Hill and Jackson Heights is less twisty, but other than that it looks awesome. It looks like the stadium was accessible, and there were some extra roads in Coal Harbor.

the betamap is the same map from a ps2 demo of underground 2 i used to have.
also the runway map is extremely similar to the full runway in retail

The stadium wasn't accessible full, in beta you can drive only into the parking. |
