Welp, today I decided to post some of my findings all in one big post instead of contributing to other major posts again and again. I'm going to start with NFS Underground and work my way up to NFS Carbon. I don't have much interesting stuff in Carbon to talk about since most of it has already been theorized. Ofcourse, there's no way to really test and see if they're right because it would take a long time to take things out of the beta version and place them into the final game to find the locations of these mystery places. Anyways I'm just going to list my findings and then explain them in later posts, this seems the most convenient, you guys don't have to keep scrolling and scrolling through a massive wall of text and your computers won't crash. Ok here we go:
NFSU:
- 2 roundabouts that are more than likely drivable but mostly inaccessible, you can only drive through a small portion of one in a sprint.
- 2 overpasses going opposite directions on HWY 1, hinting that there's a major freeway somewhere.
- A bridge on Olympic Square and Inner City that's drivable but blocked off. It's detailed well and it goes north ( explained below )
- An "N" on the bottom half of the map, suggesting the map needs to be flipped around.
- 3 signs with the state of Texas on them, suggesting that Olympic City was based in Houston.
- Flaws with the map around the Stadium and Market St. area. There are some roads in the game that aren't on the map and vice versa
- A road in Market St. that is blocked off but looks accessible, maybe as a shortcut
- Tons of skyscrapers in the beginning of HWY 1. According to its location on the map, HWY 1 is at the very end of the city. The city is bigger than we think.
- Pictures of cars in unknown areas without barricades surrounding them. There was a Supra infront of a night club somewhere and I have no idea where that is. The sidestreets look drivable though.
- More skyscrapers to the south of the city by Olympic Square. The map looks like it ends just above the start of Olympic Square but there are so many more buildings, and they look similar to the ones by the end of HWY 1.
NFSU2:
- Possible location of the Bayview Bridge.
- Cars that were supposed to be in the game but got taken out at the last second
- Possible location of the Bayview Speedway
- Roads that don't look anything like Bayview's roads on some streetX and drift tracks.
- Parkades that look drivable, construction over the Bayview Tunnel that could've been the beta location of the parkade drift track.
- Some cars don't have the same bumpers as others ( The AE86 doesn't have the ACE set of bumpers but the Eclipse does )
- SUV's don't have bodykits but in the introduction the blue Escalade had a weird kit
- Missing colors and vinyls since the demo version
- Odd picture that shows an area probably south of Coal Harbor, or East of Jackson Heights. Looks abit like San Juan's environment but I know they aren't connected.
- Inaccessible area north of Hotel Plaza, I didn't find it but I think it might be drivable after looking at some pictures.
NFSMW:
- Many inaccessible bridges, especially in the Rosewood area. Looks like there was supposed to be a freeway cutting through.
- Airport in the beta map.
- Small drift course like place in the beta map aswell as an unblocked parking lot at the baseball stadium.
- Stadium on the other side of Hickley Field that we can't get to easily. It has grass in it supposedly.
NFSC:
- Really all I'm concerned with is the fact that some of the canyon tracks have breakable guardrails and the others are impossible to break. Has anyone found the blocked versions in free roam yet? Well besides the mystery canyon.
