 We all know her. The female "helper" throughout NFS Most Wanted 2005. What's interesting is her "lore", her "storyline". In various media sites throughout the internet, there are various beta stories, which even refer to Mia as your "rival". www.neoseeker.com/forums/24285/t604151-josie-maran-as-mia-townsend/"As many of you know, Josie Maron will be playing as Mia Townsend, and she will be one of your biggest rivals on the street." "All Mia will tell you about herself is that she loves to win and hates to lose. Find out more about her when you make eye contact with her at 180 MPH." See what I mean? In late 2004, when NFS Most Wanted was announced, EA actually referred to Mia as a "rival", quite possibly - a blacklist member! Hell, we even have gameplay of that race RECORDED AND UPLOADED to YouTube! One of the races was supposed to be a Drag Race, possibly the 2nd one. Take a look: (pls dont look at the uploader and description ;-
After the Drag Race, you're seemingly taken in to a pursuit and Mia seemingly disappears. There's one more thing that supports this theory. The "Pre-Production" Blacklist. Now, there's no screenshot of the "Pre-Production" Blacklist, but the list was seemingly like this: 1. Clarence Callahan 2. Wes Allen 3. Mia Townsend 4. Toru Sato 5. Hector Domingo 6. Ronald McCrea 7. Eddie Lew 8. Joe "JV" Vega 9. Jordan Ka 10. Lou Park 11. Jade Barrett 12. Unknown 13. Unknown What do you think, fellas? I think it would be possible that Mia had a bit more in to the story than the final game. It's still a great game, but Mia as a Blacklist racer to earn her help would've been cool too. |

Video is legit and old, also it feature EA watersign. Not proper engine sound implemented for BMW and later NFS UG2 engine sound at end of cutscene. Maybe it was reversed Mia was rival and this Cross assistant girl(Simone) was helping us.

Now the real question is, what do the other blacklist members drive? I'm curious about Eddie Lew. Could that be the same Eddie that drove the orange skyline in NFSU? If so, why is he not around the top 5 blacklist members? Someone should open up texed and search for beta maps of MW also, this might lead us to find out about these other districts like Asylum.
