In the race with Mia we have the M3 so Razor would still race with his Mustang, and ronnie would probably race with his Supra.
So is it possible, that in the beta version there were no supercars? Except the M3.

 We all know her. The female "helper" throughout NFS Most Wanted 2005. What's interesting is her "lore", her "storyline". In late 2004, when NFS Most Wanted was announced, EA actually referred to Mia as a "rival", quite possibly - a blacklist member! Hell, we even have gameplay of that race RECORDED AND UPLOADED to YouTube! One of the races was supposed to be a Drag Race, possibly the 2nd one. Take a look: (pls dont look at the uploader and description ;-
After the Drag Race, you're seemingly taken in to a pursuit and Mia seemingly disappears. There's one more thing that supports this theory. The "Pre-Production" Blacklist. Now, there's no screenshot of the "Pre-Production" Blacklist, but the list was seemingly like this: 1. Clarence Callahan 2. Wes Allen 3. Mia Townsend 4. Toru Sato 5. Hector Domingo 6. Ronald McCrea 7. Eddie Lew 8. Joe "JV" Vega 9. Jordan Ka 10. Lou Park 11. Jade Barrett 12. Unknown 13. Unknown What do you think, fellas? I think it would be possible that Mia had a bit more in to the story than the final game. It's still a great game, but Mia as a Blacklist racer to earn her help would've been cool too. hey broiler want the vid of the pursuit after the race?? Travis Mackay 6. ?? --- Now a little of off-topic, there are something interesting in the video. 2:13 - 2:16 - Nissan Skyline with the plate "Razor". Maybe the player was planned to use a Nissan Skyline instead of a BMW M3 GTR? Or Razor was planned to use a Skyline instead of a Mustang GT? The early demo for Xbox and PS2 had a different content than the later public demo, for example the cop cars had for all heats licensed Ford Crown Victoria's (Cruiser and Undercover) instead of EA custom units.
It was seperated into three stages, each stage had a different event, the first was a tollbooth race, the tollbooth had openable gates.The third event was a Blacklist race against Rog (PS2 only, Xbox version its Mia as seen from official videos and IGN tests), its the exact drag race and after you cross the finish line you get messaged to not get busted followed by the cut scene there the BMW flies over the roadblock, the rivals vehicle is suddenly replaced by a cop unit in the sequence, probably supposed to reflect Mia being an undercover cop afterall, you have to survive the pursuit without getting busted until the timer ends...afte rit it will show a game footage sequence of Cross vehicle appearing (this reminds on the beginning of the official NFSMW intro, could be the pre-sequence to it, cross says 'it ain't over' in the scene (watch the video below)
About the blacklist, I don't think mia was a blacklist member, she was an undercover agent working as a streetracer to bust the blacklist, tho, she might been so far to reach the top 3 and take down the blacklist like you did afterall, but razor got your car and took down every other driver, Mia choose you to take down the blacklist due to the fact you wanted your car - revenge.
Otherwise, it was the early stages of artwork.

Right after 2:02 when u see this RX-7 look at the text under Mia it says : He's number one on the BL. Another thing making my theory more correct. There were no exotics in beta!

I don't see the connection, neither what you actually mean there in the video, the text comes up at 2:06 with the line, I don't see where you take the no exotics thing.... |

Tho, it's a race car, but the BMW's itself would be exotics anyways so the GTR is an exotic in that way, just like a lamborghini race car is an exotic just race car customized imo I wouldn't call BMW's a tuner (because a BMW is powerful at stock, luxury) or muscle cars (cause its not american and ain't matches the specifications to be a MC)...so I think BMW's are exotics |
