We all know Kenji. The punk Asian kid with his green RX-7.
But here is the weird part. Could Kenji have been the main boss of Carbon at some point?
Think about it for a second.
In most trailers, screenshots and even in the cutscene of the final game, Kenji's car(s) are usually shown.
Here's a prime example in the intro (using the beta intro, but it's hardly different tbh):
He talks to you 'bout things being changed and explains what happens.
Now let's look at the trailer with the cut San Juan Canyon Route:

Guess who's car is it. That's right, that's Kenji's Lancer.
And when some screenshots of the game were released, most of them contain either Kenji's Lancer or Kenji's RX-7.
The last thing to mention, is that he's the actual "boss" of the demo version, as you go to Lookout Point to do a Canyon Duel with him (just like in the final version), and his name appears in the scoreboard when doing the Circuit Race.
So, what's my verdict?
My verdict, is that Kenji was (at one point) the main boss of the game and you'd have to defeat him to beat the game. I could be wrong, but being wrong is natural.
Your thoughts?

kenji has the most epic words on the canyon part "It's your last chance to face reality and back off!"

It makes a lotta sense. BTW Kenji is in that race in demo. He start right next to us on that Circuit. However as demo map of MC reveals we took over just small district, but i still believe that he was a main boss in Carbon.

I agree this theory 100%. You're right.
Also you know that he hardest boss in the game (Darius can be beated very easly)

they are both hard, but you can use viper or corvette against darius wich makes it too easy

Face him with Murcielago or Skyline and then try to spread your bullshit... it took me about 3 hours to beat him with the Murcielago.... and it was maxed out! and for the theory this has been mentioned before by me and Husky as far as I know but yea I always believed he was the main boss because : Canyon Racing comes from Japan and kenji COULD be Japanese even tho he owns Downtown Palmont which has Chinatown in it. WHY? well people always call people with their eyes that look like Asian ones Chinese so black box might have done this to avoid problems or confusion. so if he was Japanese then there's lots of proof kenji was supposed to be the main boss but not of Bushido. But of LeSamurai. Remember a while back when I said that Stacked Deck's vinyls could've been LeSamaurai's??? They were it's just that they were a concept crew and stacked deck made it into the final product. so the 60 sec. ad is from a REALLY early Beta (likely Alpha too) and guess what? Kenji had the LeSamurai Colors (Black and Red)on his car AND it was a LANCER which only appears when he joins Stacked Deck. (LeSamurai in this case) the only difference is the rims the rest is the EXACT same. The 60 sec. ad proves this by showing his lancer with the LeSamurai color scheme and him having a Tier 3 car which only appears towards the game's ending. Another thing is that if BB kept MC the game would probably be longer since there could be more territories since the canyons were meant to be in there. another little theory is this : remember the MC demo map where you couldn't see the canyons in the map? well in MW2005 you couldn't see locked roads. so they probably appeared after you beat the crew boss that owed the canyon, because remember you had just got into Beta Palmont (MC) since there were no other territories you owned in the city at all. you beat kenji first but remember. that was just a demo. not a beta |

If you're talking about beating Darius in city, its possible with at least Charger rt '69.(i menaged to go trought whole career with that car). I'm talking about canyon duel.
