Hey everyone, i found something interesting on nfs carbon's cover Here's some pictures first:   The Mitsubishi on the first picture is interesting, we have never seen it ingame. Why is it interesting? why not put kenji's rx7? scorpios? something that is known. Could be just a random car. pic2: stock challenger vs Mitsubishi (scorpios) pic3: stock lambo vs Mitsubishi the lancer at 3 pic was probably supposed to be a boss. Why? It got some unknown vinyls i think this might be very early when they didn't have vinyls on the beta lambo and dodge challenger. Please correct me if i'm wrong at this, and what do you think? |

3 one could be Kenji's lancer after he joined Stacked Deck.
It's red,white and black,Stacked Deck's color.

A lot of the covers are different and could the first pic's lancer be Kenji's Lancer?

What about the (what appears to be) Lancer on the NFSC collectors edition cover It looks blue, but that could be the reflection of the sky, so it could be gray? and if you look closely it has some stripes. I assume its a lancer because it has the Mitsubishi logo on the back and its shaped like a lancer.  Interesting.... |

Damn I never saw the vinyls and it's his beta lancer because the rims are different, but just the rims as far as I've noticed |

And what i meant with NVM is nvm the Aston Martin. I thought the Lancer on the cover could be in the intro instead of the Aston Martin, but that doesn't make sense. Why? Look at the vinyls, it's kenji's lancer. Probably his beta lancer. |

The Lancer on the cover seems identical to the one you drive in gold checkpoint race in challenge series (third race series from the bottom). I can't figure out how to make prt scr work for Carbon, so you have to check it by yourselves. Almost everythig is identical:
-Bodykit, check
-rims, check
-white stripe vinyl on the roof, check
-rivets on the back of the roof, check
and of course paintjob, check
the only things that don't fit are the spoiler (ripper vs unknown spoiler on the cover) and roof scoop (sculpted blastback vs none)
Are those the same chinese vinyls that are used on Bushido cars? If yes, this might be the Kenji's car when he was still the boss of San Juan.
edit: and I forgot: hood - check.
also, the blue car on deluxe edition cover has the same parts and everything, just the paint is different.

screen:  no roof scoop on the cover, and the spoiler is curved and doesn't have holes in the side wings (or whatever you call this part  ) frps works fine, thanks RubenG! Edit: same car shown in the first picture in this thread, but with the in-game spoiler. Also, as far as I know, this car isn't driveable in any other race except for this checkpoint without opponents so it must be a true beta picture (or at least an official EA picture) |

In my opinion, this is an alpha footage from the game.
The Lancer is a Tuner car, it promoted the PSP version this game.
