While I haven't been part of this beta, I know someone who has been part of it. A retired legend of sorts I could say lol... He's Kaizeras, one of the founders of the first site dedicated to World launched back in the end of 2009 (World Garage). I've bought Starter Pack for this Kaizeras before World went free2play. Below are his 4 vids showing footage from the Asian beta (note they're all reuploads, originally they were uploaded in Autumn of 2009 not Winter of 2009).

Guy's Bulgarian, IDK how he got in the Taiwan beta and only asked him once how the hell he did that. He never told me. Probably used Taiwan IP address somehow to gain access or some shit. I know for sure he wasn't living in Taiwan at that time lol.
