NOTE: This is my first NFSC Thread.
While I was searching Youtube on how to make Darius's supra,(I only have Carbon for PS3) I found this very early Trailer. At 0:09 you can see that one of the cars have purple-ish underglow neon. Another one can also be seen with green neon at 0:11. But in NFS Carbon there's no neon.. Also the ending uses the beta logo. Here is the video:

Why would it be fan made if it had the EA watermark in the corner? Everyone can put an EA watermark in their video... Yes but my point is that it's obviously an official video from EA. If someone did that then it would be taken down, That's plagiarism. What reason would they have to do that anyway? |

Back on topic; Most likely a cut feature. You can tell they were going for that "Underground" sort of vibe.

There's a Plasmaglow logo in textures of game, so it may be true that there were neons, but they got cutted off. It's also possible that licensions of Pagani, koenigsegg, lamborghini etc. didn't let EA make neons for cars. Same situation was with Honda S2k in UG2, car was already made but then they got licensing problems.
Edit: Also found StreetGlow texture.
