So, i was browsing through NFSC video archives in my free time and ~~wondering about getting a life~~ found this:

It's a kind of race that appeared in the final game aswell (in silverton with the defeated "land mowners")

But it's different because:
1. It's in San Juan ~~FFS~~
2. Kenji has his old car

So what do you think?

btw please shout at me if someone has already posted this here(i couldn't find it tho)
and if this is what the "bushidos ruled san juan" theory is based off of, well... ehm... just shoot me with a shotgun... (not my face pls)

More videos=more proof that Kenji was the boss of San Juan. Keep this thread.

So this is the demo of the ps2 version. If i recall correctly, it's the one with the beta stuff.

Pay attention to the game intro. EDIT:(SEE NIKKI THERE? nfstheories.boards.net/thread/12/never-splash-image-carbon-demo)

At the end, it's different, right? It's only used in the ps2 demo version *citation needed* (The camera zooms right into kenji's face as he speaks) ( FYI: the making of this clip was seen in the CE bonus disc aswell (UCAP) )
(BTW: if anyone names the canyon in which kenji is speaking at the end, wins an internet cookie!)

And say what? After the guy customizes his car (finally @ 6:00), that very same race starts! With Kenji!

*SPECULATION STARTS*

So, i figure, Kenji is the "welcomer"
"You" a.k.a. "Hero" is "welcomed" by Kenji with a race! In San Juan!

And at the end (approx. @ 17:00) the Hero battles Kenji in a canyon!

So were you supposed to start the game like this in the beta version?
I mean, i know it's a demo and everything, but if it was only a demo, why didn't they just show us the game mechanics, etc?
Why would they tease us with a race, that has a character, and potentially showing a piece of the plot?
