You guys remember this, right? This strange finish line... In the middle of nowhere (no pun intended, see later why) So, it appears to be the exact middle point of the whole map. (See? The puns man... The puns...) Now, you might be thinking: STFU KID, YOU ARE JUST SPECULATING, NO REAL PROOF Woah there! Hold your horses! Need proof? Here's your proof: This is a physics trainer for carbon. Nothing special, but it has this pretty neat little feature. It can warp you to any location on the map, based on the coordinates. And what happens, after you waste 30 precious minutes of your life just to do all this
you type in 0, 0, 0 for all coordinates? That's right, you find yourself at the mysterious finish line in the middle of nowhere. (srsly i need to stahp with these puns) Edit:FYI: I found a new way to glitch out of the map using this trainer. It resets you, if you type in a coordinate that's out of the map right? Just type in anything for all spaces, and ingame keep holding Ctrl+random number on your keyboard. Remember KEEP HOLDING those buttons, and soon enough, you will be out of the map. And you didn't even have to use that old bus stop glitch!

I guess they just had to put the texture somewhere so they could use it in the races, just like the safehouse in world etc.

It's even quite near to Fortuna, so it's possible to see it on the map while driving in the street in south west Fortuna (I saw it). Why didn't they put it somewhere more away?

maybe its just an entity that HAS to be in the game somewhere. If it's not placed at the end of a race, it spawns at default location that is coordinates 0,0,0. It's the most default place you can think of and probably least resource consuming.

I think thy put it at 0,0,0 because it's the simplest coordinate bundle thing, so they don't have to put in some coordinates like -275,0,785 in order to make it appear at the finish of a race, just like andrew said (somehow).

In world at about the same spot on the map is a circle with an arrow in it. It only shows when out of bounds and it only shows up on the mini-map, not on the main view or main map. In the case of Carbon, no one has reported finding the garages out of bounds, so it's not clear how they are done, but it's clear that objects seen in game don't have to be out of bounds in order to render them. That fake finish line is just a red line, so it could represent something other than a finish line.

That means you can see other interiors of Carbon by camhack from another interior(like main menu). MostWanted2011 shown that already.

All the canyons, Palmont and San Juan are on the STREAML5RA file. STREAML5RB is the file which contains the garages and car lots. That's why you isn't supposed to see shops and roads togheter (that goes the same to the earlier games).

here @xtrafax9, have my like. fap to it. have a good fap. i know you're just constantly trying to get popularity and be respected but it seems that you don't realise that commenting everything everywhere and making bullshit theories from time to time pisses people off even more than random newcomers. Because you're not a regular newcomer who barely posts anything, researches the topic before making any statemments but you're just an attention whore. you've just bumped an old thread for no fucking reason. some newb wrote a useless thing which everybody ignored, no one gave a fuck and it was PERFECTLY FINE but you still had to comment on it a whole goddamn week later. i have tons more respect to @dariusbond007 for making a good theory supported by clear proof, all wrapped in a well formatted post for convenient reading than to you. you have written 10 times more posts than him, yet your contribution to this forum equals zero. just have a rest please. do something productive. homework maybe.

This also proves that the map continues long after what we can actually see on the screen, mainly because it doesn't look like it's really in the middle.

They co-incident put it near Fortuna are. you. serious. dood, in world there is the whole safehouse somewhere out of level (not and icon or something) what I meant with my post is, that they HAD to put the finish line texture somewhere so they can use it as finish line texture in races on the map. they put it on coordinates 0,0,0 so they don't have to like use coordinates like 125,0,-64 or something. you sir.. I can't even... just THINK m8 and check the above posts of this thread >_> I'm overusing spoilers lately
