Don't be scared only because your first game is some crappy educational one or the one for girls and stuff. My first video game is Grand Theft Auto 2 on my PS1. I got it for a gift. I liked it, I still play it now.

hmmm. I dont if that's Driver:You Are The Wheelman or Spyhunter(1st on PC, second on PS2. Both awesome!) or Warcraft II. I dont really remember what was first. EEh i ....remember when as a toddler is was looking at my dad and mum playing it, i remember one certain moment when i was visiting my grandma with parent and i settled on 2nd floor with my PS2 while playing Spyhunter with mission on french riviera and then someone called me to go down...and then tape ends. I got numberous memories from playin' Driver as a kid. I really dont know what was first so you have 3 options: -Driver 1 on PC -Spyhunter on PS2 -Warcraft II/III

It might've been some crappy arcade game or a game where you use a pirate ship to destroy balls coming near the mines... I dunno. As I've played a lot, I kept no record of which was the first game I played.

I still don't get how people could say GTA is one of their childhood memories..
On topic: Pinball for Win98 when I was 2. But for games in general, I had played, err, hide and seek. :b

Call me a moralfag, but I don't think killing people virtually isn't good for toddlers who can't even differentiate left and right (read: don't know what is wrong what is right). Honestly, I'd rather play outside than lock myself in my room for 12hrs of non-stop gaming; either when I was a kid or today.

Well as i said i didnt run around with a gun and kill, but rather start new game or savegame just after intro and run around, cuz i didnt really now about missions itself that time, and yes until kid wont differ good/bad and real/virtual then it's a bit to early for M-rated games, but i was kind of special toddler, raised by young early twenties parents who played games by themselves when i was a baby, and later they had internet/gaming cafe where we had a lot of PCs and PS2. I played WoW there(original blizzards servers) and NFSUG2(i understood much less about game there, i just lpayed on someones savegame) and Warcraft III RoC and TFT. That was my childhood, in cafe with teen guy who run from the school on early hours and computers.

This makes me envy alot to you. My parents were married at 28/29, so they're -kind of- restrictive. Btw, is there any way to remove this quote-ception feature?
