We all think of Olympic city as a big nice city with skyscrapers and parks, but if you take a closer look, it seems like half the city is a old, broken, battered place. Take the alleyway near the Market District, its full of hanging clothing and sparks coming from the power lines. its very poor maintenance for a city. Also, take the National Rail, there is a big prison next to it, and a bunch of old dirty power plants and a junk yard next to it, along with the Railroad itself. The Railroad is mostly a subway, but it is one of the, if not the most run-down place in the city, with abandoned buildings around it. it is partially flooded with water, and it is filled with trash, and with broken pillars around what I think was a train station. there is a hole in the ceiling of the place, and there is rubble blocking the train exits. also steam and water are coming out of broken pipes and old lights still hang around. outside the train stations there is still rubble all around the area in between the stations, and more ruined buildings with burning barrels here and there. There is also a skate park with lots of Graffiti, and Port Royal has a bunch of rusty old pipes and fences. Overall, Olympic city is a dump, with a literal dump right in the middle of the city. but everyone focuses on the nice areas with skyscrapers and forest, and sometimes its just best to focus on there anyway. honestly it seems like nobody fixes anything in Olympic city anyway, like Detroit.

The typial image of a city, the industrial side is the dark place, ever saw compton or the industry park in Long Beach? Compton is the ghetto of LA...there's always the good place and the bad lookin place in a city.
Go to chicago, ny ... and go thru the alleys at night you'll see clothes drying and ecerything there.
Besides, Olympic is actually small.Tho, those effects with sparks and smoke are great for atmosphere, like you in the industrial area and wanna see the industry working, special effects are always nice.
