I found something interesting in Youtube. This is the original intro from NFSU2.
Probably it was removed because it is a bit innappropriate.

I mean this is like old, this is like 10 years old lol it was the trailer for the E3...I don't see whats innappropriate there...but maybe maybe they wanted to show the city as it was free roamable...I mean the E3 trailer for NFS U had a totally different soundtrack and way more in-car scenes with Melissa, also the shifting scene was different (different gear)

I mena, it's my view on this, they could have hold this, but they didn't...for what ever reason. |
