1st two pictures are from San Juan and most likely final stage.
The other two screens are the official box art of the Collector's Edition, I mean don't you see wha tit says?
The stock edition shows a view from a canyon at ocean side down to the city, the CE is placed in a canyon behind the city.
About the city, I toughly believe that this is supposed to represent a simple version of Palmont as a whole, not the exact Palmont, but just a representor of Palmont like the Tri-City Bay art on the 'Undercover' boxart.

so, i've been googling for nfs carbon beta and i found this image, don't know if it's beta but i don't really recognize this area:  i couldn't find it on the map either (maybe i'm blind xd) i found it here: 7games7.com/need-speed-carbon-free-download-download-full-nfs-carbon-pc/same race but this time the race has progressed somewhat  it looks like a crew race from san juan? after some further googling i also found this one:  it might be a fanart but i'm not sure about that as this looks like the canyon located in mystery city? i found it here: nitishpcgames.blogspot.nl/ In the 1st 2 pics, it's the San Juan Area. In Last 2 pics of CD Cover, or it is Palmont City or is the Mistery City.... I Don't know for that... Compaire the Non-Collectors Edition disk with that.... on non- Collectors edition it's propably The MC.... but on that cover..... i will doesn't know....... |

That was Salazar Street Race. These opponents dont have any crews, just their cars added Sal's vinyl, so they will look like an crew. |
