I searched ''NFS Carbon beta screenshots'' and i found this:  probably a very early screenshot of the game.  I Don't remember this road in the final version of NFS Carbon, probably a beta/alpha place.  |

the only new finding is the last pic, it's a beta UI
the first is already found, the second is in the south-west part of Silverton, that's a shortcut

Look at the last pic.
For some time i was thinking about the sense of these beta wallpaper-pics. A Carrera GT and a Camaro winning with it?
On this pic there is nothing about the car's tier.

It is available in the final...for Xbox 360 you can download the cars Zonda, 911 Turbo, Infiniti G35 from the marketplace.For PC you'll have to use save Editor 1.27 that unlocks all stock cars (e.g. Infiniti and 911)
To unlock the Zonda just unlock all custom cars (using the tool)...the official way is buying ea downloader version of Carbon (now its origin)
Now I know why I have these cars unlocked already.

Cuz i couldnt really find it 3 weeks ago when i got my hands on that old CD. Also google didnt show nothing on first page. (I searched for "NFS Carbon autosculpt trailer") that's why i stated "no video on net overall" shit. |

Did anyone notice the first pic, the textures of the buildings seems to be different, the wingman logo, the arrow walls showing the direction was Orange instead of Blue (Like in Most Wanted), the sky was dark blue instead of pitch black and the minimap was blue intead of white.

The sky in carbon isn't pitch black, its dark blue tho (and depends on brightness srttings ingame, I'm on 30%) also each district has its own night sky flair. In the picture, it has a nice clear sky with stars and clouds, I'm not sure if its a preset sky (like in Pro Street, Undercover, World, Shift... or a dynamic sky...the sky remind sme on MCO's Skoggit County Road (and its three semgents) at night, it also had bunch of stars, even flashing looks so real. *You mean the track course is highlighted laguna blue istead of yellow. Interesting, different starter girl, a blonde with a blue shirt and red top...I kno this is a game 3d model, but damn they shaped that body pretty damn hot, look at that butt, back, hips and the legs and the hair (2nd pic)   |

Addition to the beta/demo gameplay teasers by IGN.
I always thought its the lower motion blur effect which makes the road to have a muhc higher resolution and...I just turned of motion blur in the final game and raced Lookout Point at 30% brightness (game setting), at a certain speed the road looks very detailed just like in the IGN teaser but also at a certain speed if you look down behind the car, you even see the single 'stones', and the double yellow look very realistic.
Try it for yourself, be aware all my game settings are on maximum, except resolution whihch is at 1024x7xx or 1280x960, I don't remember.
My thought, they didn't cut grpahics detail, it's just the motion blur effect, which might be off in the demo gameplay.

What's the difference between alpha and beta? Alpha stage in game dev is part of development when team test mechanics(in old times it was literaly "square races, or square wars"), Beta is almost finished version just to find out buggs of the product(often limited to some extend) sometimes also some content may be changed during beta stage. |

so, i've been googling for nfs carbon beta and i found this image, don't know if it's beta but i don't really recognize this area:  i couldn't find it on the map either (maybe i'm blind xd) i found it here: 7games7.com/need-speed-carbon-free-download-download-full-nfs-carbon-pc/same race but this time the race has progressed somewhat  it looks like a crew race from san juan? |
