I found orbital shot on World of NFS World(no connection with Carbon or MW cuz these both are in US) It's strange world with teal waters and strange continents, never seen outside of few introduction videos(how to play etc.) to World(no one posted it here yet) 1st pic:  2nd pic:  3rd pic:  3rd pic pointed out(trailer, video zooms here and then blacks out for half of the second to be replaced by normal ingame map):  What do you think? |

Isn't that also from the very first trailer for World Online, so when it was outta asian beta close to NA and EU closed beta?
Always thought that is the earth (or kinda of) and since it was from asian beta times I thought it zooms into Japan? And the yellow lights (blue your images) stand for the data exchange/connection transfer from the different real world places people connect from.
I think that's the only meaning of this globe due to the name NFS World Online, it shows the world, in this case zoomin to 'japan' and show the connecting process.

It's not real Japan, just similar fake island. Lights are cities seen from orbito of that unknown World of World(lel). World is not on totally open sea and it seems to be on West part of 'Japan'. cuz this area matches a bit more(We dont have open sea view in World, only part where it could exitst are waters behind Southern Islands rest is enclosed bay all over around RockportxPalmont so small bays may be locations of World in that world. |

Let's look for Mystery City in that pic of the world of nfs it's for World itself in my opinion, because other renditions were in US like GTA (altered real life's counterpart). |

Tho, places in World are still in the US, just put together....I mean I know what you mean with that being for World only.
Dunno if the islands on the globe in the trailer have meaning or represent the connection of players around the world.

That island on the first picture looks a bit like Australia.
