Alright, I came up with another theory for the Turnpike and the Tri-Cities theory. Tri-Cities obviously doesn't refer to the Undercover's Tri-City Bay. So it means there are just three cities. Obviously, it's Rockport and Palmont. The third city in my opinion would be Bayview. Why? Because in the city, especially on the Turnpike, you can see planes landing, but they are facing far away from the Rockport airport. Palmont doesn't have an airport, so I would guess they are landing to Bayview. Behind the Turnpike, there's land, but Bayview cannot be south, because one of the planes lands to north, not south. I would put Bayview to the northwest of Rockport. I think the Turnpike leads to a Tri-City highway, I'm working on the map right now.

At world garage forum, either in the chat or in one of the threads, an EA developer, probably Eduardo (Art Director), mentioned, that the existing map was out of room (except the empty space north of Fortuna and west of Silverton was going to be used for the canyons). The south end of the turnpike was going to be a teleport point, perhaps automatic (you just drive through it), and teleport to the Undercover map. One of the issues with Underground 2's map, is that all the objects and coordinate system are lower resolution, so conversion would take a long time. This would seem to imply that Undercover's objects and coordinates were the same as World, in spite of the fact that Undercover's map is much larger than World's map.

Even tho in World they don't care about distances between cities to promise a player friendly world, they do cared about its locations.Even in World Bayview would be on the west, so if it could be added it would be far north west of Fortuna.
And Tri-City Bay, that one couldn't fit in NFS World...it couldn't be south of both cities, cause everything north and north east of Tri-City Bay are huge mountain ranges, its known to be on the gulf coast of the US (either SoCal or south West Florida)...
So a teleport would been the solution with the most sense.
Seeing planes without an airport near isn't phenomenal...you see them in carbon too and there's no known airport...however they just simulate air traffic with random paths...they can fly to any place, doesn't have to be Bayview just because it was in NFS.

Even in World Bayview would be on the west, so if it could be added it would be far north west of Fortuna. Except that in Underground 2, if you look south from Jackson Heights towards Coal Harbor, you can see an unreachable city west of Coal Harbor across the bay. That unreachable city could be Point Camden if Bayview was placed on the east side of the World map, to the east of Point Camden extending to the north.

Nah, but in real its just a texture to pretend other towns or cities to simulate a real world/realistic environment. And that looks like a small town at the bay with a highway or so...those are just for atmosphere at night...

Unfortunately, using map of World for theorizing has become a trend here in the last few months. One of the most silly trends I've seen NFS wise. I feel like there should be a rule on this site saying that map of NFSW = bull shit and so any user using it for theorizing will get a warning.
Maybe I'm too mean, I'll let MW himself judge

There's absolutely nothing you can do about world. it's all fictional, quite literally everything is possible there, hence all threads about its map are just outright pointless.
but seriously everyone quit trying to place bayview everywhere just cause it's iconic. it has nothing to do with any of the cities. nothing

They're right. There will be NO Tri City in NFSW because that city is HUGE because that city has so many highways and cities as well. Turnpike bridge is just a fun place for players. I know this is coming from a guy who posted the first Turnpike bridge thread in NFSW but now I consider it pointless.
I am The Most Wanted and gRiM are correct. ALL NFSW theories about the Turnpike bridge, mystery places, blah blah blah stuff are pointless. Sure we see some "mystery" city lights there but we should know that they are JUST SCENERY AND DECORATIONS so that NFSW will be a lot more awesome.

Yes, NFS World it total fitted for multiplayer experience, it also add roads that were not available in the originals, or even replace other roads.
The most hilarious thing was how people turned the maps up side down, moved things from east do west and such and added awkward ugly highway sections...I never understood why people turned Bayview up side down or others moved it to the east...
If they would have added more cities, a teleport would be the only good solution specifically for Tri-City Bay...Bayview could have had a long highway going from Silverton or North west Fortuna over canyons and thru tunnels...however, the most legit solution would have been the airport teleport too, I remember as rcg said Ed said something like this. But it has no matter now...for now

Alright, sorry for the stupidity of this thread, I'm still new to this...Now I kind of realise how senseless and fictional the map of NFSW is...It's not really nice of the devs to make the whole Turnpike and Tri-Cities sign, making the players theorise and crack their brains over it, while they didn't actually plan adding something behind the Turnpike..

Welcome to the forum mate, take a look on the main theories so you will know what's going on, then you can come and help the team

Thanks, I did a little bit of looking around I almost made another thread about Rockport and Palmont connections, but then I saw Most Wanted's Carbon map an decided it would've been even more embarassing for me to make another thread..
