Now this is a theory I thought about while I was taking a shower, so it may be ridiculus. The main question of this is, Who is the UG1 protagonist? It could be Rachel Teller actually. Here is a small storyline. 1. Rachel started racing. 2. The "blue Skyline guy" started too. 3. After Rachel won with Eddie, and Melissa she flew to Baywiev, and using her position in OC she became the organiser. 4. bSg started climbing the rankings and made hype 5. He won everything
6. The crash caused by Caleb, who maybe was his main rival.
7. After some time he also flew to Baywiev, and met Rachel.
These are stories of 2 diffrent people. This is my theory, leave your thoughts. |

Just BS...that's just thinking way over the top pickin up crazy thoughts.
The protagonist in U is definitely not Rachel, its a male protagonist you play who scores Melissa as your gf at the end.And Eddie just started to climb up the ranks before you, he became #1 in the mid stage of the career.
In Underground 2, Samantha leaves a message telling you to meet her friend Rachel.
There's no mention nor appearance of Rachel in Underground, there's no Rachel on the rankings during the game.
Rachel is most likley much longer (maybe grew up) in Bayview, she has business with an office and said she owns the city, however she means that? Mayor?

Uhhmm. In the cut scene in the beginning of UG2 it shows you as a male on a plane.

Anyway, he would have bought the skyline after he had beat everyone, because the devs needed him to have some car because they won't be able to replicate your car from Underground, so they went 'Let's give 'em a Skyline!'
And why else would the stories fit so well together?

The devs picked a car which is supposed to be the players car in UG1, there's no meaning to it but they just needed a car for the story.
The player from UG and U2 is the same, the intro of UG2 tells that anyways, so don't try to turn things there!!!
The player would have bought the skyline during his career in UG, doesn't really matter...

And the car was just picked for tutorials. Boss's cars and the Supra at the beginning of the game were used for tutorials in Carbon.
