i dont know a thing about these and reading all of these making me a bit more confused last words before my phone is *R.I.H* (Rest In Hell): Salazar and sal seems to be connecte... d I'm pretty sure Sal is short for Salazar. |

Maybe Sal was supposed to be a crew member you get after defeating San Juan boss and then they decided to use it as a normal preety shy racer as seen in his behaviour.

Ok now guys before you jump into conclusions I may be wrong.So when Nikki tutorials you she seems to be in a hurry right? And once she was done she took off somewhere... Perhaps she was looking for a crew member you or she stumbled across a crew in SJ.She beat the boss,or asked nicely for a member:D.Then they gave(or she won him)Sal Mustela.Nikki must have brought Sal to you y'know since she intruduced him. I made this thread to tell you that maybe Nikki won Sal in SJ while Neville and 'the player' was being chased by cops and was winning their first few races. After the Tutorial is finished, Nikki left Neville and Player. Nikki is looking for more crew while looking around San Juan. Then, She meet Sal Mustela. She heard that Sal Mustela was fans of Player, then She wait for Player to win 5 races. Then, She introduce Sal to Player. |

what if you were supposed to race sal to get him in ur crew?? Didi you have a beta!?!how in the heck could you know that happened in beta?!betas mostly like demos and just a little better. |

if my opinion counts i think if sal had to be a crew leader or member it could explain why quick races in san juan has cars with sals vinyl.but i think ea wanted to make those cars just to add this as most intresting.thats my opinion.but as always my opinion is always wrong so.....
