A bountyhunter is a person of law (kinda), often former/retired police officers, special forces or other military units.They don't work for the police departements but they bust the wanted suspects with a bounty on them and deliver them to the police for the process or punishment.
The bounty hunters earn the bounty in form of a paycheck set (either by cops or whoever ordered their service) by the police or government.
Some bounty hunters actually keep the suspects from messing up their whole life because of hiding/running by busting them instead of the police doing it.
The most famous bounty hunter would be Dog or Doc, he had or still has a TV show and runs a whole team.
