As the title says, I'm considering giving up on YT. I just can't seem to invest the time to make my content quality enough for people to watch. Another thing I can't do is the tags, which always seem to be too much to do [do i put a ton or a little?] if you guys could help that would be great. [And dont be afraid to tell me I should quit, I'd prefer someone being honest over someone lying to make it seem nice.]

Why has YT not been a worthy investment for you?
Lack of subs? Not that fun? Losing subs?

Well consider using hashtags i think it attracts more people like instagram for example that day paul walker died (my favorite actor btw) people are posting pics of him using #raceinpeace ,#paulwalker or #rippaulwalker and everyones photos when to like idk 200 likes but when i posted mine i got 24 likes when i used to have 2 digit subs
And probably consider collabs with other youtubers too
And shout yourself with social accounts like for example
Follow me on twitter! Follow me on instagram like my page on facebook (you get the point) but thing is that its your channel and im not forcing you to do this this whole thing is an example
Good luck m8
