I noticed this while I was playing Prostreet: Nothing really noticeable that quickly, but look at the front bumper and the bodykit: It isn't in the game. Then why did they bother to put it on the RX-7? Was it scrapped?

Isn't that the teaser trailer? I think they planned to have the feature to repair/quick fix your damaged body this way during races, maybe its tape or something else to hold the body.
But it could be pre-set to the car...

But it could be pre-set to the car... It doesn't have to do with the damage on the bumper; I am pointing out how the bumper doesn't actually exist in-game. Also, it is the intro that plays when you boot up the game. And it isn't the stock bumper either.

Yeah, but this is also in the 17 Second Teaser Trailer of Pro Street and the later full lenght trailer. Looks like its a autosculpt bodykit, (and it doesn't look good imo) Maybe its exclusive to the rivals car only as seen in the trailer.

Looks like it's have ben available to beta version of Pro Street only, but I think it can be restore in-game using hex editor. And there's no problem about the damage,I think it just for in game car damage system.Pro Street is the first NFS games to have real car damage, remember?

I think that RX8 can be unlocked too

Eh...NFS had full car damage physics in NFS High Stakes (1999) and Porsche Unleashed (2000) already. The best and most realistic car damage was in Motor City Online (NFS Motor City, 2001). NFS Hot Pursuit 2 had a decreased detail of car damage, on the PC/Xbox/GC cars could get a damaged body and lose the hood and start to smoke. The PS2 version also featured broken windshields and lights and depending on mode the damage affected cars performances.
