I'm not sure if anyone noticed in the intro, but at the beginning there's a weird hatchback that the black 911 Turbo pulls up next to. It looks abit like a Civic from the side and the back, but from the front it looks more like an older Renault Clio, and it's got rally type vinyls. You get the idea that it's not that great of a car from the intro, well obviously it isn't because it blew its engine at the start. Here's the car I'm talking about: gyazo.com/8404b13119cd13ce41d5cbb7b95dd41eI have 2 thoughts on this car, it was either just something to go along with the intro video and it actually has no meaning in the game, or it was supposed to be the bonus car for B class. The reason I say it might've been the bonus car for B class is, well atleast on the PC version of HS, there are only 3 bonus cars you can unlock, the El Nino/La Nina/whatever it's called, the bonusCamaro, and the bonus 911. The only problem is, B class is the only class that doesn't have a bonus car. The EQX ( Let's call it that for now since we don't know its name, if it has one ) seems like the only legit bonus car for B class IMO. It's depicted as terrible in the intro, and it's pretty small compared to the other cars aswell. What do you think? |

I think its just blowing air, it is supposed to take down (joke) on tuners and show how dominating exotic sports cars are...that's the thing that is pretty obvious when watchin it.
I don't think just because there's no Bonus cars for a specific class means therr was supposed to be one, and in fact I doubt that whimp car would be in a class with corvette, countach and such.
However, I have to mention there are more Bonus cars in the aussie version (2 aussie cars and a third rally version), I downloaded all Bonus cars and official addons years back.Aside a normal HSV there's a rally version of it, both in B class I think.

It's just abit less modern, and the taillights are different: ![]() I think the EQX car is named to be a some Honda civic, at least that's what you read on youtube and such.But its definitely not a muscle or sports car Not really, but it does have some official addons cars like nfs III HP and I think there were B class cars too and: The only *retail disc* B Class Bonus car for NFS III HP was in the Walmart version only (the official install file is downloadable these days) it was the official pace car corvette of the indy 500. the official addons cars had B cars too. So I think that's how they filled the "missing" bonus car for the b class |

I think the car is just meant to appear on the intro, and that it was never meant to be in the game. Just what I think, obs I have no proof. But like it's been said before I think it's just meant to show that high performance cars dominate over the typical street racers that drive cars like a Civic with more visual than performance upgrades. As if the game is the opposite of that (and later switched sides with NFS Underground).
NFS II had some odd bonus cars but III HP didn't have anything unusual, right?

It's kinda funny cuz current tuners surpass Exotics in almost all aspects. (Maybe except more precise handling kept with high power). Look at current hiper tuned Skylines R35 (GT-R) thay reach 1500-2000HP and have better accel than Gayron. But yeah, tuners were mocked earlier.(prior advancements made by proffessional companies in 90s, tuning was risky for car durability and not as effective as it could be) |

Of course a tuned car muscle or tuner will take down a stock exotic sports car, take 700, 1000 or 2000 BHP V8 beast and it will dust everyone on the strip.
But a general tuner has no chance against any sports car and muscle cars for that.
However, a guy can have a 1000 BHP Honda civic and beat ma 600 BHP ferrari california in a race, but it doesn't matter, cause at the end of the day I still have the more exciting, eye catching and fascinating car which everyone dreams about...and everyone knows that he had to heavily tune his car to beat ma class...
sports cars aren't just about speed, its the design, the interior, the details and luxury, the appearance you represent your style with.

In the other hand Hothatches like fiesta golf gti or civic 5/6 deliver great feelings while playin around with them, only ferraris can match with amount of good feelings while drivin. However these are different, in hothatches its pure joy, childish joy mixed with freedom while ferrari has "something special" in it which make it better in compare to any other supercar. Rest is just faster versions of penis extention like Mercedes(and a bit of luxury). |

I think that it might be a Civic with a custom body kit, it´s still NFS and well it is a bit wierd that it is one but who knows? There are no official EA employees signed up to this site, I mean, we don´t know |
