Shift: they wanted to call it shit but they thought that it was inappropriate
The Run: cuz you get out of the car and run a lot and it's the name of the race

I'm not allowed to believe in coincidences. *starts beating up baddies* Also, my reasons: --- Need for Speeds - I FEEL THE NEED...THE NEED, FOR SPEED!  Hot Pursuits - Because cops and racers, bitch. High Stakes - Racing in multi-hundred-thousand dollar cars on the streets is high stakes. Much danger. Such stakes. So high. Porsche Unleashed (or Porsche 2000, or just Porsche) - You drive souped-up Beetles. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Undergrounds - Underground means "a group or movement organized secretly to work against an existing regime". That's what you're basically doing. Organized street racing, bitch. Most Wanteds - Obvious, isn't it? Carbon - Two reasons that came into mind: Carbon Canyon. And, as someone here has mentioned, the element carbon is the sesto elemento (cwutididthar?) on the periodic table. NFSC was realeased on the year 2006. Pro Street - No idea, maybe from 'professional street racer'? Undercover - Obvious. Shifts - No idea, probably because cool name. AND IT AIN'T SHIT.Nitro - Nitrous spam all day. And drift to gain them. The Run - Name of the big race in the campaign. And that's what the campaign is called. Rivals - Autolog causes rivalries between friends. And the conflict between cops and racers in the campaign. |
