Yesterday I downloaded a trial version of NFS Rivals on my PS3 and after I played it I was disgusted by how the game was made: poor graphics,glitches,invisible walls,falling through the map and my PS3 crashed during my first playthrough of the game.I hope NFS 2015 will bring back the NFS series in it's former glory.

The game has beautiul graphics but what I mean is that when you go fast the game takes a long time to finish loading the map and sometimes when your not moving the game graphics will become low res and streched out. This happened to me twice but only for a few seconds |

Listen boi(@tuff) Rivals is self rip off made by criterion and partialy by ghost guys. It's terible mash up of HP'10 & MW'12 with elements from The Run (customization, havin a story, engine). This scheme destroys HP's feel by dumbfeature like reapairing gas stations. In HP-MP you struggled to survive and fought for your life, heli flown over you got hit by emp and now goin on critical dmg lvl in dumb Rivals you have it deep in your ass since next station in 2meters away and you have tank agera one:1 cuz of upgrade. This kill fear and adrenaline during such gameplay. Also speed points, jumps and crash scenes. Over Half of "pursuit tech" is copied from HP and you can have 2 only and that removes any tactics(police and partialy racers in HP)from gameplay (road blocks in right time). In this shitpool it's redyced to spamin turbo(aka boostin')and 'REFILLING IT' on these goddamn bullshit stations. No 'FREE'roam ai will try to fuck yu up at first sight for no reason often. Landscape is copy of Seacrest and lack any bigger city.
And yes boi, i played HP, MW, TR, and this obnoxious game (Rivals). Stop advertising it like you were paid by EA. I'm sure you havent played any nfs prior PS and played HP casualy. Otherwise you would see level of horrendousness which Rivals presents.

Come on, Rivals is pretty good with all the action, maybe not better than HP but its good.
Yes, it has elements of HP and MW, but that's how they advertised it to be a combination of both previous titles so things appear there like the cop and racer weapons - and who didn't loved to take down that racer or cop with tech?
Redview isn't a copy of Seacrest, tho they are both inspired by southern and northern California which results similar environments, the road system is all-different.
It's recommended to have larger counties than a single big city with urban only environment, especially when you drive world's fastest and most exclusive cars in breath-taking pursuits.
And isn't a breath taking SoCal nature more exciting than cities? You got forests beaches, mountains and deserts with all types of weather.
And don't forget the first 6 NFS titles had similar environments (forests, mountains, coast, deserts) too.

In HP it was your epic last option to escape with jet accel in Rival you dont have this feel nor it doest look so tense, it's just casual "turbo charge" no thinkin and no spikes strip duel in that shitbag either (in freeroam escape from HP) nor tactics and thinkin of usage of your weps. That renders Rival as dull, self rip-off. |

The northern you go the more forests and mountains will appear while the south and east have a hot climate with forests and larger deserts. However, the thing is games gotta be casual friendly if you wanna attract the majority which isn't or barely playin video games, the majority sticks to sports games and racing game - who doesn't love sports? Alright, this was somehow to Rivals, but turnee to be general. |
