Not sure if this a big thing or not but I think Sal said the player's real name.
I'm doing a race with Sal as my active member, when I hit a van, Sal said "Just shake it off, Jack."
Jack? Well that's some coincidense right there but I'm not going to pop up a theory that Jack is from NFS The Run too.

I don't know, maybe it could be a saying or something; but I'm not one to judge. However you could be correct, the developers of Carbon are known to be quite sloppy and leave things in the game that aren't supposed to be there.

Are you sure he said Jack? I'm just sayin cause he could have said something else which sounded like jack...and is it possible to hear it or is it randomly?

Jack is not just used as an actual name, it's part of the american english slang, synonym of dude, mate, bro - in a more cynical way

As I recall a few months back, Sal never say that sentence while I'm playing Carbon so I could say randomly. Try hitting traffics with Sal as your active crew. He might say that sentence |

I never noticed that. But if you remember one of the cutscenes in the the original MW, Mia shows the player his rap sheet on a little palm pilot or whatever and it shows one name that's never been mentioned in the blacklist before, I think the last name started with a G but I'm not sure. I'll look for that cutscene.

update: while streaming Carbon, I hit traffics again with Sal as my active crew member. He said that sentece again so maybe it's just random after all.
