According to mimio82, 60% of us (I'm not included.) got banned in World, I'm sure you're pouring your hatred over the new devs *gives a death stare to the devs* how about we should sit together and make tea and not war learn some facts about World eh?
Facts about cars in World:
- BMW M3 E92 is the only B class car that can not reach A class.
- Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is an A class car that can not reach 700 OA.
- "Jeep Grand Cheeroke" "BMW M6 Convertible & Coupe" starts in Class B, but can go all the way to class S
- VW Scirocco has the worst handling stat in the game.
- Nissan Skyline R34 Nismo Z-Tune was advertised as "S Class Tuner".However, it can not reach it, with an exception of GGGRRR setup.
- Various cars feature other than default drivers
- Mazda RX-7 Battle Machine sounds slightly different from the regular one.(needs to be confirmed)
- Every E Class car is for IGC
- "Ford Police Interceptor" & "Nissan GTR R35 SpecV Unlimited AWD" & "Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Ryo" are the cars that can be only obtainable via Car Prize Packs
- NFS World BFH SUVs doesn't give you Driver Points.
- Bugatti, Cadillac, Caterham, Jeep and Lancia, Infinity, Chrysler, Scion, Marussia and Alfa are the only brands which features only one model.
- Nissan Silvia & Audi S5 had "Cosmic Nos"
- "Mclaren F1 Elite" is currently the best and the most expensive car, with a price of 22.500 SB
- Every "Beauty" edition car features a female driver.
- Mclaren MP4 12-C Halloween features a pumpkin head driver, special bodykit that can not be removed and a "Boo!" texting spoiler. It also features "Zombies" sound effect.
- The song plays in Mitsubishi Eclipse Elite is "Junkie XL - Castellated Nut" which was also featured in NFS Pro Street.
- Pagani Zonda F Roadster was given for only a few players that were considered VIP.
- Viper SRT-10 "A-Spec" has the highest Top Speed stat for A Class.
- A fully ultra tuned Corvette Z06 CLE has the strongest low speed acceleration in game.
- Veyron's the fastest car in terms of top speed
- Aventador, Veyron and Carrera GT are only stock S class cars.
- The Nissan 350Z "Underground 2" does not have the same vinyls as the car it's a homage of.
- Back in version 4, the M3 GTR's top speed was nerfed by 5 mph, without any INFORMATION about this in the release notes. With max performance skills, the top speed was reduced from 204 mph to 199 mph, just slow enough to prevent it from getting reckless driving in pursuits
- The EVO X was released September 28, 2010, during version 4 as the only level 25 tier 2 car with a level 45 pro upgrade kit, and being slower than the Elise and with a limited number of slots, having a EVO X with pro upgrade kit was very rare.
NOTE: This novelty lasted less than 2 months when on November 16, 2010, version 5 was released, doing away with the in game performance upgrade kits, replacing them with performance parts.
Customization:
- The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 3.8 & 4.0 has a roll bar which can be colored, by placing a vinyl over the side mirrors.
- You can't sell more than 10 parts at the same time.
- You won't receive IGC by selling A/M parts.
- The skill mods for acceleration, top speed, handling were removed to "lower" the performance of cars only to make room for the "hypercars" that actually have the same performance of those ex-Tier 3 cars with those 3 specific skills .
- Ram skill in early betas was 200%. This was later reduced to 150%, and reduced again, but still listed at 150%. then reduced again, but listed at 75%. The max with ram skill mods is now 50%
- Demolition man was a universal passive skill, later on changed as a juggernaut powerup upgrade (skillmod patch)
- Drag skills are under "race skill" category yet they dont count towards achievements.
- Shortly before the patch, the CM of that time lied that "There won't be any specific drops" and "All skill mods will have the same drop rate", only to see some skill 8 out of 10 times (radar/pursuit cooldown) whereas others are 1 out of 100 (perfect start nos extension)
- 4 **** Skill mods falsely advertized as "droppable" in rewards cars when they actually only drop in skill packs or mystery packs.
- Almost all cars in game had at least one body-kit available for IGC that was later turned into SB - and at the highest price possible being as expensive as the wide-body kit.
- Shortly after the introduction of A/M parts in drop rate you could get some of the other SB-only wheels in reward cards, something that was later on "fixed" so that those things stay SB only.
- Before the Car Classes patch, each performance part had a different icon depending on the level.
- OPEN Beta testers got achievement "Open Beta" which gives 5x license plates that has BETA text on them.
NOTE: gRiM has BETA plate on his Silvia so that technically means he's playing World during its beta tests and now hoping for himself to get banned on World
Development Teams:
- Developers can have up to 2 Bugatti Veyrons . Not fair T_T
- Developer Achievement is worth 1337 DP (see: "leet"). I have no f****** idea what this means
Free roam:
- The weight of the traffic & cops was way smaller then the current one, and was buffed when High Stakes & Underground were added
The CM of that time along with the respective producer lied they will nerf the cops if asked for when they did the skill mod patch (click here)
Some months later the CM did a poll which was utterly ignored
- Traffic A.I. was changed from docile to the chaotic one of today.
- Free Roam Chat was disabled due to a hacker called NFS**** hacking, spamming the chat channel, and crashing other's game.
- Night ambience was added to the game on December 15, 2010.
- Juggernaut increases the acceleration and decreases the speedloss during landings from jumps and helps you to get
Map:
Canyons were supposed to be in World but the devs are too lazy to add it
- "The "Bus Station" / "Bus Terminal" ramps and buses were drivable during Beta session and the head start period from July 20, 2010 to July 26, 2010 (for the pre-order players). The ramps were blocked off on July 27, with the art team claiming this was done as a "temporary" fix to prevent players from parking during pursuits, in spite of the fact that other locations on the map were much better locations to park during pursuits.
- The "overpass" that is a bit before reaching Hwy 99 on Stadium and Hwy 99 was blocked off and made non-drivable to prevent cars from crashing into it.
Performance:
- Part percentage stats do not really alter the car's stats accordingly.
- "Misc" is an left-over by the old devs.It can be seen in the performance shop by scrolling down.
Pursuits:
- Pursuits had cops according to heat, not like what we have now - ex: Undercover muscle cops at heat level 1
Races:
- Class Restricted Race + 6 Opponents + %30 Race Cash skill mod + 1st place = Maximum amount of money you can win per event.
Team Escape:
- There aren't any Team Escape with Heat Level 5.
Haha, not anymore 'cause I activated the Heat Level Hack in TE event and it went to heat level 5
- "High Stakes" & "Underground" are the only tracks with 2 slots.Any other tracks feature 4 slots.
- Undercover Muscle Cruisers in "High Stakes" & "Underground" are pretty heavy.
- Just before the layoff of the Quicklime studio team, Underground received a buff regarding a couple extra spike & roadblocks just so you can't finish the event easily.
- Before the Car Classes patch, Team Escapes reduced durability by 1%, instead of 5%.
- In the very first Beta (March 5, 2010), Campus Interchange was 7 laps, making it the longest event (about 19 minutes at the time)
Tracks:
- Camden Hills, unavailable since the Car Classes patch, was the only Circuit in the entire game to have three laps as default.
Treasure Hunt:
- Treasure Hunts never happen around Gray Point.
That's all and I grabbed the info from EA Forums.
