Yep,that's right.This time the informations for the theory are not from myself.The reason is because it's really interesting that it makes me want to share it here.Also,the website linked above is in Portuguese language.So,the whole thing will be much understandable if I share it here in English language.
So,let's begin.
If you about to go to the east of Beacon Hill,you will arrived at the enterance of Pigeon Park.At there you will be see this:
It says "Brad Lawless Memorial Park" instead of the actual name of the park.When you go inside the park,you will see a bunch of pedestrian bridges that says the same thing.
When you arrived at the northeast of the park,you will see a huge monument off the road.
If you go closer to it,you will see a little sign with a text besides the monument that says "Brad Lawless,In Memory of Our Friend".A similar text to it appears in the credits.
But,the weird thing is,why the hell the road around the monument doesn't mentioned on the map?
Usually in NFSU2,off roads are did mentioned on the map like shortcuts and others but why it's not mentioned there?Additionally,there's a road mentioned on the map,located to the southwest of the park that also in the same park but if you go there,you will be see for yourself that there's not road at there.It just makes things even weirder.
The answer for the road things is because Black Box moved the monument place which is originally placed at the southwest of the park to the northeast of the park.Also they forgot to remove the mentioned road at southwest of the park and add the new road on the map which is at the northeast of the park.
In summary,these are everything we know about this:
-Brad Lawless is developer's friend who passed away when this game is still in development.
-There's a park in the game which is located at Beacon Hills dedicated to him.Its name is Brad Lawless Memorial Park even though the actual name is Pigeon Park.
-Pedestrian bridges with the park's name can be found inside the park.
-There's a monument which is located at northeast of the park with a sign specially dedicated to him.
-The original monument place is located at southwest of the park but moved to the northeast of the park.
-The original monument place has a leftover road which is never got removed and the current monument place never has a road mentioned on the map.
