In Nfs underground, when you do the career mode why is it that you always race against the same cars in the same races no matter how many times you've played it. Also why is it that you constantly see them throughout the career mode. It's not a bad thing I'm just curious.

But in UG2 they changed all that. TBH one of my favourite things from UG1 was the AI and how their vehicles became more modified as the career went on.

You faced same ppl in this city, with names and even having part in plot (Jose our bro there, Clutch and rest of guys on records like him ) They progressedas you progressed. UG2 became ricing bullshiet. UG1 Für Lïfë

That was actually one of the things I didn't like about Underground 2. The AI's are all randomized, even in Career. And the mods they have are terribly ricey. Like seriously 9 times out of 10 in a race I'm next to a 206 or something with a wavy spoiler, level 2 taillights, double roof scoops, tiny "Da Benjaminz" spinners or Rota rims, mismatched paint, top layer vinyls coupled with Burger King logos, and some weird level 3 bumper combo. Even though some of the AI's in Underground are ricers they're nowhere near as bad as the AI's in NFSU2.

Because there are so many different upgrades in UG2 it can make the AI look a bit odd

Underground stuck to a top 10 driver list so certain names appeared in the game through the career, but on the other hand those names that appeared through the career but never on the list, how could they have the same reputation as you do that you gotta race those nobody's to progress, also you defeated the Eastsiderz driver's dozen times through the career but they were always ahead of you until the battle for spot #2...there they give up after loss.
So, Underground has its weird things too, of course you can explain this with logic afterall...
In Underground 2 there's no top driver ranks, the city is bigger and more citizens, Bayview's told to be the center of the racing scene so it obviously has much more drivers to face.
So, U2 chooses the drivers randomly, it's fine cause imagine you gotta race the same drivers with the same cars when having trouble with a race or when repeating it independent to the career.
In the Underground each sms (race invitation) comes from one person, different for each race, but an upcoming race doesn't change the sender when you repeat/race the race.In U2 the races always have an invitation by a different challenger whenever you repeat/race it.
