You would be lying if you said you dont care about graphics.The question is how much do you care about them?
I say the graphics are important because they give you good first impressions and get you more immersed in the game. Of course, gameplay is still more important than the graphics. Whoever says that very old games like PS1 games have crappy graphics, they clearly dont understand that is as far as the developers can push their games at the time, that is what the developers can work with at the time. Most of my favorite games are on PS1 too. Just because technology is improving doesnt mean video games must follow. But if nobody cares about graphics, we would still be playing 8-bit games today. This is just my opinion, everybody has their own taste in graphics. Like my friend, he's too strict on graphics that PS2 game graphics aren't even to his standards.(Kinda ironic since he was born in the PS2 era)
