It does feel like a underground game, it just seems different, like it doesn't have the usual NFS feel. 2005? that what it says on the video. after NFSU2 but before NFSMW 2005. interesting.

Its seems to be very early build, car and camera clips trough the ground, models hover in mid-air and there is placeholder cutscene (scene from 1st F&F)

Are you sure that this was supposed to be released in 2005? It don't look like a typical 2005 game, judging by the physics and graphics, it seems more like a very early prototype of U1.

I don't think it has to do with NFS, if at all it could be something like Midnight Club or really just an independent game...

also my own thoughts : "...or even one of the other spinoffs like Need for Speed Carbon" HOW.DARE.YOU?!?!?! (HUGE fanboy rant incoming, brace yourselves!) Carbon pioneered in the customization department with autosculpt!!! The crew which is coming out on 2014 (and carbon is from 2006!) DOES NOT HAVE IT OR ANYTHING SIMILAR!!! Carbon is NOT a spinoff but what Underground SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!! Carbon takes a crap over both UG's in every damn feature except for the story (had to admit it ). i mean it was about as short as The Run's... Have you seen ANY other non NFS game with anything even REMOTELY close??!! NO. BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ONE!!! (yes i know he cant see this but where else am i gonna rant??? )

ok i found out exactly what this is. a cancelled game that was called "Octane" to have been released for Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2 and PC, however the PS2 version was set to release December 28th, 2006 : ca.ign.com/games/octane/xbox-360-855315its status is "CANCELLED" (except for the PS2 version) so its just like the guy in the article said. sad how it was cancelled it seemed like it could have been awesome. also if you look up "Octane vivendi games" the only systems it will appear on will be the 4 I listed. also to back up the fact of this being a very early build look at this : yea....

That actually looks like the FNF Tokyo Drift game for the PS2, atleast that's what I'm seeing. This looks like an unfinished early 2000's game that you see at arcades lol. It does seem interesting though.
