Need for Speed Theories shutdown date and details.

I still remember the time when MW said that he created something like this,
it visited it 3 mins after the first vid got uploaded and at this time it was empty,
about many months later I came back and created a account, The forum was like a bees nest, full of everyone working with some quitters dead at the bottom.
at the start I was mostly reading other posts and stuff but then I started talking too.
then I remember the thing when Broiler told that he is going to leave,
everyone was worried that "OH NO WE'RE GONNA MISS U".
Well with a reason.
but You always knew that those who leave will always return.
This is probably the most friendly forum I have seen.
In some posts I have told you about Estonian Gaming Communities and I have always felt great when I have got here.
It's like a house, a place where we all are and talk,
There is a specific circle of people posting to specific places.
and that made us close, Together.
I have seen other things and stuff dying and I have never taken it personally because they most of the time never made 100% sense.
this one here neither, but still.
I don´t see a point in shutting it down because you got so much hate about it.
I know MW that you don't like to be tagged but please MostWanted2011 listen to me.

In the 3rd class I was probably the most popular person in the school, for bad reasons.
I had much repultation beating somebody up because they messed with me and I was always in the Director -s cabinet writing "Why I did this".
I was out of my mind because I got Trolled about every corner I walked through at the 2nd class.
I could´t just take it.
after 6 years I can take it without any trouble because I got out of my "Worriness" or however to spell it.
That's what we have here too.
You got about 20 people who are loyal to you and your community.
Those who play Forum Games and still think about the things we found or have to find.
Those who feel bad because they haven´t been online for 2 days.
You got a youtube Channel, actually many channels.
THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEBODY WHO PRESSES UNLIKE, ALWAYS.
So keep it the way it is, and cancel the shutdown, Please

I just want to know the real reason of this shutdown.

We have to enjoy all those remaining 28 days,because after that there will be big depression coming...

OK, let's get this straight. MW's reasons for shutting down the forum:
1. It's no longer focused on theories.
2. He sees no scope of it repairing itself.

However, there's the fact that despite being the admin of the forum, he doesn't care about it anymore. If he cared, he would have taken corrective measures instead of lazily and irresponsibly hoping that it would repair itself with time.

He didn't take enough care of the forums, and crippled the powers of the admins as well. Now that the forum has lost it focus, instead of taking responsibility and trying to fix things, he decides to shutdown the forums as a knee-jerk reaction.

Here's what I believe should have done months ago:

1. Making a thread in the theory board should have been restricted. Only members with admin/mod/genius rank can make a thread freely in the board. Threads made by normal members will have to be approved by a mod before being visible.

2. There should be 4 sections:
    a. The rules & announcements section
    b. The theories section
    c. The social section(For crews, blacklist, meetups)
    d. The discussion section(NFS discussion, off-topic stuff, forum games, other games discussion)

This, IMHO, should fix the focus problem.

Now, about the lack of theories problem.

Theories, by nature, take time to form. In most cases, it takes many a stroke of genius & moment of revelation of many people for a theory to materialize.

Carbon was a huge exception in that it had so many mysteries packed into it. The same cannot be said for other NFS games.
Man up and tell your subscribers the naked truth. Theories will come when they come.

Carbon might still have some surprises left, with @paulosorto trying to get the Gameinformers issue with a review of beta Carbon.

UG&UG2 research has seen some progress recently.
@konigsseg is working on removing the barriers in UG.
@379felipe uncovered more details about East Bayview in the PS2 demo.

And then there is @trypticon8 trying to find stuff in the PS2 demos of various NFS.

There have been other stuff as well, which may not seem to be of much significance now, but then, theories form when we manage to connect smaller stuff.

I am tagging you MostWanted2011, to bring to light your apathy towards this forum. The admin of a forum is supposed to be the core of the forum, actively engaging with the community, and taking care of the forum. Not popup from nowhere when "security issues" arise.

Remember, you are where you are because of the NFS:T community as a whole. Theories are the brainchild of the community, and not your personal genius.

Give us admins the powers required to fix the forum, if you can't be bothered to fix it yourself.
In the future, theories might become rare, but the forum won't lose it's identity if the theories section is kept separate.

We are a community brought together by our love for NFS.
