Hi guys, I'm StreetUnderground and I was messing around the Texed in the GlobalIB file for NFSU1 and I found this:
 As you can see it says "COPLIGHTS". I know that probably most of you guys knew that was think the existance of cops in U, but I've never seen this image in this forum so I uploaded it. Sorry for bad english. |

It was in talk somewhere, but keep in mind it can be a leftover from HP2...so if someone would check it out there (can be from the PS2 version as well)
The tracks are very short which would make cops pretty useless if it was supposed to chase you, I guess it could been a static obstacle on drag tracks if U was ever meant to have cops, and if it was they dropped for a reason.

Oh yeah, there are a lot of things from hp2 but this one is interesting. But the cops, were only planned because early screenshots, but I don't think they planned that when they dropped the free roam. If it's not in game is because could be problems with the traffic or something like that (maybe). |
