I think this is my last thread in this dead forum So, if you played NFS Underground or UG2, you maybe know, that in some parts of city are Flags. Ok, nothing interesting. Just flags…. I looked a bit closer and now I have this: Yeah, circles. I wanted it to look cleaner. So the flags with green circle are random, the flags without circle are from important states. Canada , England and France. Now the flags with red circle are….. from Slovakia. What the hell is flag from little European state doing in american game ?! It haven’t got connection for me. First NFS with Slovak language was Pro Street in 2007. Underground 2 haven’t got nor Slovak manual. And the Slovak flag wasn’t in other NFS ever. Have you got any idea why is this flag in game ??

Dude, some hotels (and even companies) have flags hangin around to represent the languages they speak and companies represent their coorporation with other nations companies.
The random flags say NFS, someone figured it out as NFS Underground has the same thing, they are sea signs or something like that.

It's just a flag to me, would you ask the same if it would be italian?

There are two thousand flags in the world and they used this.

All I can say is there's nothing special behind it, they could have picked a different one and someone would ask the same as you why that flag, but the last thing I can tell is you've got Canada, France and England and those are connected to the countries history, so maybe, just maybe the other flag has or had something to do with Canada (or british Colombia to be specific) or one of the devs is from slovak (is that right??)
But then, Carbon also had the korean flag next to the standard flags if I remember right in the downtown area...so it afterall just stands for the hotels languages.
