It's fine, I thought I got what you're talking about, but you were talkin about the track map and not the track itself, that's why I removed ma comment.

I'm not exactly understanding what you're trying to point out, is it the fact that the little drag map thing in the beta actually does exist in the final? I see a massive looking road and a finish line on the final's map, is that what you mean? If so then that's pretty interesting. I wonder if it's possible to find out where the drag tracks are actually located?

Doubt it, the track seen in the beta is just a pre-version of a final drag track, it just has different billboards and adverts and as the whole city a lighter ambience and a less road reflection effect.

In the process of development I believe they kept editing the early version which automatically eliminates the existence of the early version in the final game.

But why would it be in the game if the track is just a pre-version (in beta) of the final track, they are the same just different billboards...I believe they just kept editing the beta track and didn't started all over, so the final track is the beta track, but you won't find the beta track from back then.



Btw, the drag from the beta pics is 14th and Vine, I believe.

uh... not saying you're wrong or anything but i thought that it wasnt a map... just a progress bar. kind of like the DiRT series has one

I think it's indeed a progress bar, because as seen in other races HUD that thing does not exist.
