If you're gonna think that this has no theories, well, look again! This game has theories!
Oh well, we first start with beta OC:  - Image found by mobilmalik Look at this, this place is not even in the game, this could have perhaps been part of a beta OC. This kinda looks like one of the drag tracks. Then, here are some other secrets:  You can see that there are 4 roads that lead out of the city, but the theory is, WHERE DO THEY LEAD TO? This is so unknown because that exploration in Underground is so limited and there is no free roam. Some smaller interesting finds by mobilmalik:  Mystery City or Olympic City? Perhaps the former.  This part looks like Bayview. If that is Bayview, then we have a source of confusion, IS OC CLOSE TO BAYVIEW? That is a nope, since it is daytime on the flight from OC to Bayview in the plot of NFSU2 and nighttime when you arrive in Bayview. Post more interesting things you find in Underground! Alright boys, please somebody mark this race's finish line on the OC map for me. This is a serious find.  As it seems like we have a theory: NFSU2 was supposed to be set in Olympic City - which actually makes sense. NFSU2's free roaming map is not very detailed, had different versions, and looks completely rushed. The devs scavenged the drag races from the earlier version, because the more races, the better. Plus how would you explain the Bayview sign seen from the UG2 drag race? Well maybe, just maybe Bayview was supposed to be a district of OC. But that's a bit unlikely. The landmass where you're coming from is nothing like Beacon Hill, and we can see several inaccessable roads that are not need by the player, but still detailed, because creating a road geometry is difficult. We can also notice the Beacon Hill ferris wheel in the distance, but that's all we can see from there. Really confusing!         |

Okay, I found the location of that track. (Vine Street) As well as a finish line in red to indicate where the textures are located.  Not accurate location in OC map, because I can't line up perfectly. |
