The NFS Underground on DS and GBA is also set in OC.. cant put the proof in right away because my DS is really crappy and most buttons don't even work anymore... ill look for vids no forget it.. that's useless.. BUT.. remember when u choose your car in UG1? look that up in the map... even though its NOT going to be in there!! sooooo.... WHERE is it?

Enough off topic. Let's go back to NFSU1 theorizing. Remember it's a group research project and NOT a off topic or nfs discussion.
I tried to find something interesting, but i couldn't find anymore in NFSU1, i will try to see if i find something in NFSU2 or carbon.

@bugattifreak OC and MC have nothing to do with each other.

The city textures are at the ends of races are there to replace 3d models of the city

Now, it really makes sense like MW said, Underground 2 was supposed to be set in OC, but changed to a new city, and took some of the buildings from Underground as 3D textures in Underground 2.

Unknown highway:




I found this in Stadium, and this is pretty interesting, because it never appears on the map or able to ride on it. It is not going to be Highway 1, because it is so close to the start. Highway 1 goes over the poor people's place (the place before the bridge jump) in the Stadium track.
