See Carbon Short Codes thread in NFS Discussion. Short codes are not good idea since guest will dont know how to itepretate them. It nust be clear. And btw it slow down discussion, cuz me (and some other need to check). Ofcourse i mean codes like NEC- north east canyon, its totally unneeded and just bring mess to thread. Short codes like MC, SJ or DJ are good known but this new system especially about canyon regions is messy and have no practical use except puttin' lower amount of letters in post. Really better use full names laser. Its just need to be clear not a military code like this " Maybe DCP is in NEC or SEC. LPCY/LPCW." its just to messy. I agree, its also difficult for me to rememkber them.

It might seem messy now, but it's better in the long term. For eg. there are already multiple instances of Pan(orama) city(see, the current name is just as cryptic) - NEC, SEC, Santefe City. Having specific codes for each will prevent confusion. Guests will get the hang of it after some time. Also, it's not that hard to remember, all cities end with C and all canyons end with CN. About long ones like SECN, they will rarely be used in discussion, they are there just for reference.

I also agree, you write the full name of stuffs faster than you remember these secret nfstheories-geek codes. Back to that picture with the vulcano and bridge: I think that it's just the highway going to Silverton next to petersburg's lake. (I mean a beta version)

Looks like most members are against using codes. I agree on using full names like Kacpa said, but let them be from the codes thread. Long ones like SECN will rarely be used anyway. About LPYC and LPWC, I couldn't come up with better names for them. Any suggesions?

It seems I'm the only one who is not against codes, but I do get confused by them. I prefer codes to full names, looks like we need a poll. Laser, the NEC, SEC and BAC ones. NEC thinks me of nectar, lol. SEC for sector. BAC for an airplane.

OK, back to topic. About that video Felipe posted, pause at 0:06, are those city textures present in the final game? BTW, my original comment got lost in the discussion about codes. What do you think?

I don't think so, but the most strangest of them all, Mystery City is not seen! All other unknown cities seen from Lookout Point are parts of Mystery City! Very weird. I first thought these were Palmont textures, but I looked closely, it was a part of Mystery City.

about the road in the sky you know how did i get to those textures i just went into the place used for full sj and i was looking in near the canyons and i found Palmont textures i went near them so i can see the streets and i kept going until i went into them underground i mean so i found those textures i made a video so you can know how i got there but it is bad about maybe i can upload it later when i am back in Egypt because it is only in my PC so i just said what da fuck mystery city is in palmont ?? so that is it

guys... remember the hidden crew members i found in each crew of carbon except for darius's? i found some of their names.... and some other stuff see that name saying "Kasparov - 21st Street" this member was deleted from the game as he dosen't even appear in Angie's intro. he might have also been a member from LeSamurai Or Sal's Crew! Disco Patron.... WTF is that??? was there supposed to be a DJ or something in the game? this also says he had a voice! other stuff : i also found that all the Flag Girls at the beggining of each race had a voice which was probably deleted from the final product: It clearly says "Flag Girl (voice)" but the flag girls don't even TALK!!!! there's also another deleted character! Sinday Faraguana!!! she's not in carbon for sure. LOL.. i didn't know siren's had voices!!! XD. but WAIT! Valet??? there was VALET PARKING in carbon?! this means you could get of the car!!!!!!!!!!and something else... there is no SWAT in carbon.. but it was there in the beta apparently! nobody in NFS Carbon is called Joe may! another deleted character. In addition almost all things like cars are in normal nfsc but unbtainable without save editor etc. (Only chellenges and bonus content disc are not cuz obvious reasons)
