big nope sj was planned to be in the middle of mc ,unless ea changed their mind I know that but i would like to call it mystery juan because its to east of MC. I did not talk about San Juan |

Found something! At the end of the game looks like there is mystery city buildings in the background (Dont worry about yellow shit in the corner) :  That is the City Center Square (i.e. the plaza) in Downtown |

Wait,a thing is not right... There are 3 (or 4 ? i don't know) mysterious cities in one game  This is not right. But MAYBE those cities cross again the cities of the previous opuses ? This really confusing. Oo |

This really confusing. Oo I'll try to make it clear for ya. There is this main Mystery City(beta Palmont) west to current Palmont. Other mysterious cities are at least 3 copies of "pan city"(one seen to north(from canyon routes of course - Deadfall junction and Desperation Ridge), 2 to the east( same textures next to each other but its just representation of San Juan(visible at start of Desperation Ridge and end of Eternity Pass)) and last one to east-south seen from Knife's Edge. Those all has almost nothing to do with MC, so dont confuse it with Pan city (name is from name of the texture in files). So there are basicly just two other than MC (north one and east-south(but also it might be just slightly miscaled SJ representation so we got then one PC) So in short there is Mystery City and Pan City with one optional copy behind East Canyon (optional cuz not sure yet it is or it isnt representing San Juan). I hope i made it clear to ya. |

So i don't know if you guys already found this out or if it is important but, if you open (yourNFSCARBONfolder)/FRONTEND/DEMOFRONTB1.bun you can find two textures named: DEMO_WORLD which contains the roads of the known part of MC and DEMO_MAP which is a map of the easter (known) part of MC without roads.

OK, back to topic. About that video Felipe posted, pause at 0:06, are those city textures present in the final game? BTW, my original comment got lost in the discussion about codes. What do you think? Yes they are. If you play the pursuit at the beginning, you will see what you guys call MC. Look to the left. There is water then city then the mountain. |
