Yes, I seriously made a thread about it.
There are rules to this thread though:
1. Only 3 games per person, to avoid major spam. Once a new page is born, you can once again post opinions about 3 games of your chocice
2. The opinions must be very wide. You must share your personal experiences with the game you're gonna talk about. Posts like "Terraria - Good" are going to be deleted.
3. The score thing is completely optional. You don't need to give a game a certain score.
4. Give opinions on games you played.
I'll begin, naturally.
Team Fortress 2:
I like this game. A lot. Seriously, on my old Steam account I got like 327 hours, and 16 hours on my new one. I really like how the gameplay is made and how balanced the classes are. There are no overpowered classes in this game! Another good thing is that THERE IS NO CAMPAIGN! Meaning NO SHITTY STORYLINE! Sweet yes! Exactly what we need! No bullshit story, just go and play the game.
And the best part is: IT'S FREE! There is one thing I don't like about this game. And that is the weapon "Backburner". Fighting AGAINST it is like a death mission. Turn your back at least once when facing a Pyro, and you're dead. Overall, an excellent game - 9.9/10.0
ORION: Dino Horde (after 30 minutes of gameplay - may subject to change):
I don't really know what to think of it. I like the guns and I love the engine they're using (Unreal Engine), but what I don't like is the animations and the objectives. The dinosaur animations are very buggy and some of the objectives are almost impossible to beat. I can't get past Wave 2 of the dinosaurs. But, the graphics are pretty smooth and believe it or not - the gameplay is actually quite fun! There is 1 major problem with this game. It tends to crash A LOT. Seriously, once someone hosts a lobby and then starts the game, the game itself crashes. Hoping the developers will fix that. Oh yeah, I forgot! The developers of this game are actually really nice people! They listen to the community and add/fix whatever they want! Example:
The community wanted Survival Mode - they got it!
The community reported a glitch - it was fixed!
The community wanted a new Dinosaur to be added - it was added!
Overall - pretty decent. I really want this game on Steam. As in, not in the 4 day trial.
5.3/10.0
Terraria:
Ah yes, I remember when I hated this game when its developers were shit, and I just ignored it for being an "obvious Minecraft copy"(hell, I never even liked Minecraft to begin with)
Then I got the game on Steam when a new friend of mine on Steam (when I was on my old account) gifted it to me as a "token of our new friendship).
I tried the game out, and I wasn't expecting much. But I really should've expected a lot.
This game is fucking AMAZING. The gameplay is VERY well done! No major glitches, cool weapon system, great variety in enemies and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MUSIC! I just LOOOOVE the theme when you're deep underground. The bosses can get real annoying at first, but hey, once you get some sweet ass weapons, the bosses shouldn't be a problem. The crafting system in this game is much better than in Minecraft. In Minecraft, you have to rely on the internet to find out a certain recipe for a weapon or tool. In Terraria, the recipe is shown if you have the needed materials. +1 to Terraria!
I would sincerely love to have this game on my new account, but that will probably happen in a year. Because I already asked prepsi for NFS Undercover. I know, I know, bad choice, but for theorizing - I think it's gonna be worth it. Besides, it would pain prepsi a lot for him to get me 2 games, I don't want him to think like I'm abusing him.
Overall - excellent game! Worth the money!
