I know that the raining at drifting would be in game, but it got deleted... it's not!
It's still living in the form of an easter egg like thing (or maybe a bug?). In quick race mode, select Gold Valley Run, select PALMONT PD3 (police rhino), start the race... at the first corner, it will start to rain, but stops at the half of second corner.
PS:i'll upload picture of it, I'm on mobile now; my game version is: 1.2 Collector's

I usually see raining in free roam, i have seen it ONCE in a canyon, but that was like.. years ago :S

I usually see raining in free roam, i have seen it ONCE in a canyon, but that was like.. years ago :S It never rains in canyon routes. Reason? There is script which disables rain in canyon (you can clearly see it. When roaming void and its raining you will enter track it disapears. This gold valley run raining seems to be leak in area which triggers script for camera. (Rhino has very high tp camera + drift camera it makes cameraception which allows you to reach this leak)and at last it just need to rain in game world to occur (it wil not rain all time, btw rain is rare in quick race. |

You can catch raining again. Only raining in general must occurs to see this again in this "leak" spot.

I got full fledged rain in a Copper Ridge Sprint(From Quick Race). I have Carbon CE 1.4 Here are some screenshots.  It started raining right from the beginning of the race.  The rain continued throughout the race. Notice the raindrop effect on the screen and the light streaks on the wet road. |

Bad that i didnt record hidden canyon music long time ago (it occured in career and its nearly impossible to do again. Why? It happened when i beaten Wolf in duel on Deadfall junction, then random crew attacked Deadfall junction sprint race. I heard this music then creepy a bit and awesome as well [it was like title screen song but with Ekstrak style beats]) |
